Chapter 1 *Heretics*

Alex's pov

It's been 4 Months since Kai's death , i am alone , tyler he left down he triggered his curse 

i have no else to go , going to alot of bars drinking alot of bourbon 

i am broken ,the love of my life is that what i am gonna do without him 

i knocked on the door , few moments later the door opened

"Alex"He said

"Hey matt"I said 

"i been living in the street for 4 mouths , i don't have nowhere to go please let me in"I said he kept looking at me

"Come in alex"He said i enter than i hugged him he hugged me back

"Thank you matt"I said than i pull away 

"i'll get some rest"i said he nodded i went to my room 

it was still the same , everything waas in the right place , i closed the door and took my clothes off and walked to the bathroom i turn on the water and lay down in the bath tub 

i looked at my wrist Kai's tattoo 

water came on my hands

"the rings"I said i was about to take it off about i didn't it was kai's i'll never take it off

the next day

i was just laying down on the bed Doing Nothing , than suddenly someone knocked on my door room

"Come in"I said than matt enter

"Good morning"Matt said 

"Good morning"I said

"did you sleep well?"he asked

"i didn't sleep at all"i said

"Are you okay?"He asked

" What kind question is that?"i said 

"Right i am sorry , so today ceremony for the police academy's and i would like for you to come"He said

"Wow really , sure Matt"i said he smiled

"Okay good i'll see you there then"He said than left my room

i don't have any dresses to wear , so i decided to wear something old i have (A/N :The dress is up . Alex is blonde Now)

I went to the Town Square i saw caroline sitting there i walked to her

"Hey Caroline"I said she looked at me

"Hey..Alex"She said than i sit down

"What are you doing here?"She asked

"Matt asked me to come"I said she nodded

"Are you okay? i am sorry about what you felt , but..."She said but i cut her off

""Lets just focus on Matt right now"I said 

"Yeah sure of course"She said i looked t matt he was wearing his sheriff's deputy uniform i smiled 

"Please join me in recognizing our graduating class of new deputies as I read their names and they receive their badges."The Sheriff said

"Deputy Cornell Willis..."We Clapped

"Deputy Taylor Hall..."We Clapped

"Deputy Matthew Donovan..."We clapped for matt he smiled at us

than matt walked to us holding his badge , i hugged hi than pull away

"i am so happy for you"I said than caroline hugged him too than pull away we sit down again than stefan came behind caroline and whisper something in her ear

"Hey, I think we have a problem."He said i turn around to him 

"What problem?"i asked he was about to say

Out of nowhere, all of the lawn sprinklers around the town square's park go off, spraying the veteran deputies and the sheriff onstage with water and forcing many of them to rush away as the audience chuckles in amusement.\

 "Sorry for the malfunction, folks."sheriff said

The sheriff then flees the stage, along with the audience members in the front row who are now soaked with water. 

The water from the sprinklers ignites in flames, causing the laughing audience to begin to scream in fear.me and Matt, Caroline, and Stefan begin to panic as the rest of the deputies try to usher everyone to safety. Once of the new graduates who had been soaked with the water is set ablaze, and he screams in pain as he burns

"What the hell is happening?"i asked

"The Heretics"Caroline said

"Heretics?"I asked

"The ones that kai set free from the prison world"She said than run to help people

than suddenly caroline  fall to her knees knees screaming in pain and 3 Girls infront of them

AROLINE: [in agony] Agh! Ugh!

"Hello, neighbor."One of them said

"Stop"I said they looked at me

"I guess your alex right"the blonde one said

"Stop hurting her"I said

"stay out of it"She said 

"Enough!"Lily came 

than they stopped hurting caroline

" I fought tirelessly to reunite us, found ways to coexist in this new world, sacrificed everything to make us a family again! How dare you jeopardize that? All of you..."Lily said

"The bloodshed ends now."She said than she looked at me

"Sorry for your lost Alex"she said than she walked away and the herectis follow her
