Older Gravity Falls

Mabel's POV

"I just can't believe it! Can you believe it? They are moving here? Dipper's going to spend his senior year here! Also Wendy is coming home for the summer, and Robbie, and Lee and literally everybody! This is going to be the best summer ever!!! Ahhhgghh I'm just so excited!"

Gideon laughed across the table. He probably was just a little tired of me talking about how excited I was this this upcoming summer. But hey, he goes with it and that is all I could ask for from my boyfriend.

I always laughed a little when I thought about that. I was dating Gideon, my Grunkles (ex) worst enemy/competition. If anybody came up to me three years ago and told me that I would be dating him now I would have thought that they were absolutely crazy. But both of us had changed since Bill Cipher was defeated during weirdmageddon. Him more than me. I was a little less sensitive and just a tiny bit less extravagant. I was taller and my face had thinned out quite a bit. Gideon was kinder and less psychotic. He didn't crave power or popularity anymore. He was even a little reserved and shy now.

And that was just his personality. Puberty had to come along and hit him like a truck. He was a lot taller and skinnier. He actually had a little muscle now from his short time working for Wendy's dad. His hair was calm and short, instead of a huge tower on his head like it used to be. His face had thinned out and he looked less babyish. Overall he was pretty hot.

"What?" He asked. I realized that I was staring and looked away for a second.
"Sorry I was just thinking about I must be annoying you with all of this" I responded not wanting to tell him that I was thinking about how attractive he is.
"It's alright. To be honest, this is the happiest I've seen you for a while." He was right about that.

First my parents got a divorce, which is why I lived in Gravity Falls with my mom and Dipper still lived in California with our dad until recently. Just as I was getting over that, Wendy and all of her friends went off to college. Grenda spends almost everyday that we didn't have school with her boyfriend, and Candy went to this little science camp thing. And Pacifica was always working over at the Mystery Shack.(Yeah I know Pacifica working. It was weird to me too at first.)

But now my life was turning around. My dad got transferred to a town close to Gravity Falls, so he and Dipper were moving here. Wendy and the gang are all coming back for the summer, Grenda promised that she would stay here the entire summer, Candy is coming back from her computer camp today, and Soos hired someone new for the Mystery Shack so Pacifica won't have to work so many hours anymore.

"Yeah well my brother makes everything better so of course I'm happy." I told Gideon with a sort of sarcastic voice.
"Sure" he responded "I thought that they were already here?"
"Nah, my dad has been here for about a week but Dipper is staying at a hotel so he could finish up his last week of school. I'm pretty he's sure coming tomorrow." I explained.
"Oh ok" Gideon looked down at his watch. I looked at my phone and saw that it was around 2:15. " I have to get to work" Gideon said, he now works at the car dealership with his dad. "I'll see you a little later?" He asked, standing up out of his chair.
"Of course" I responded. He smiled and leaned over to give me a quick peck on the lips and I grinned as he walked out of the cafe.

I decided that now was a good time to go and visit Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford. I picked up my bag and walked out of the little cafe. Making my way over to the Mystery Shack.
