Older Gravity Falls

Mabel POV

"Oh shut up!" I said, lightly shoving Pacifica's arm. Her shift at the Mystery Shack just ended and we were sitting on the front porch drinking some Pitt soda and talking.

We both started laughing. It was incredible how humble this girl had gotten since before weirdmageddon. She was totally chill and hung out with Grenda and Candy. Sure, she was upset that she wasn't as rich as she used to be, and now she was teased by her old friends but she handled it well.

"Hey, do you think that Candy is right?" She asked. She was talking to me about our party I had planned out for when Dipper got into town. So I understood what she meant.

Candy was really excited to see Dipper. That girl still hasn't gotten over her crush, even though she hasn't even seen Dip in four years. But she had this big fantasy that Dipper was completely hot. She thought he was going to be a tall and mysterious new person.

"I don't know!" I said, "He's my brother! I'm not supposed to think of him like that." I have Pacifica a look that said "duh."

"Oh please I understand that!" She responded giving me a small glare. "But I was more talking along the lines of her thinking he drives some cool-looking car and being totally buff. Or the time she said he would be covered in tattoos and piercings."

"Oh please! This is Dipper we're talking about. Absolute nerd and about as physically fit as a sloth."

"Well after all that happened four years ago and the divorce you can't be sure how it affected Dip. That's all I'm saying." She gave me a look that I understood meant that she knew what it was like to have big changes happen in a short amount of time. Which was true, sure her parents didn't get divorced but she doesn't have a huge mansion like before and she actually has to have a job now.

"Yeah I guess," I said, not sure how to respond. Dipper couldn't have changed that much. Could he have? I mean the only thing that changed about me was that I had a different sense of style than before. What could have possibly happened to him.

"Well I think one things for sure." She said. I looked at her, confused about what she might say next. "He's probably still shorter than you." That made us both to laugh. I was pretty tall, especially for a girl my age. I was 5'10" and I wouldn't be surprised if Dip was shorter than me.

We were starting to calm down as my phone buzzed in my pocket. I checked it and saw a text from my dad. It said 'Hey I just got a text from Dipper saying he's on his way early and he'll be here in a couple of hours. You might want to make sure you move your little party up. Love you!' I stood up as fast as I could.

"Oh shoot!" Pacifica looked at me slightly worried. "Apparently Dipper came early. He's going to be here in a couple of hours! We need to start calling the others to let them know. Will you help me decorate the Shack?" I asked her. She stood up and put her hand on my shoulder.

"Of course! Geez we better hurry!" She got out her phone to start calling people and went inside the Shack to start getting decorations set up. I dialed Wendy's number and went started walking in to help Pacifica.

Wow it's official I am terrible at updating stories! I'm so sorry guys I feel like a douche now!
