With Lily staying in the hospital overnight, you decided going out with your friends would help you feel better. It had been Lily's idea in the first place, so you tried not to feel too bad about leaving her there. She'd said it herself - she was fine being by herself and would be completely safe if another episode happened to take place, "I'm in a hospital, surrounded by doctors and nurses! Don't worry about me, I'll be fine," she'd grinned at me, before shutting her eyes and letting sleep embrace her. She might be fine by herself, but she was still your responsibility.

You pictured her face as you got dressed - throwing on a matching tight dark blue cropped top and miniskirt, and the white pair of heels you still hadn't returned to your friend. The party you were going to was only two doors down, so you told your friends you'd meet them there as you only had to walk a few steps. As you locked your front door, you could hear the music and see the lights that were emitting from your neighbour's house and by the time you arrived, the anticipation to get so drunk you pass out was at the forefront of your mind, enveloping you.

"Hey guys!" you shouted, finally finding them in the kitchen, huddled around another alcoholic concoction they'd made. "Is this for me?" you asked, eyeing it up.

"I don't think you should be drinking," you heard a voice state from behind you. You spun round to see, what looked like, a worried Jimin, "at least not something so strong."
You knew his suggestion came from a good place, but it just made you angry. Who the fuck was he to tell you what you could and couldn't do? Were you not even allowed to let go of yourself and your responsibilities for one fucking night?

You grabbed the drink and gulped it down, your eyes glued to his. "I can do whatever the fuck I like, babe," you retorted, "including taking you up on the offer you made last time."
You watched as his eyes widened, his whole demeanour changing within seconds. "If you want to fuck then let's fuck," he smirked, his gaze darkening and his voice low. He looked so eager you thought you would give in and fuck him right there, but you ignored your impulses, your still-sober mind taking control.

"I never said I was actually going to accept your proposal." His smirk dropped and he looked at you like a miserable, rejected puppy that had heard the word 'walk' and then not gone for one. "If I really wanted to fuck you, it would have already happened." you lied. Honestly, you desperately wanted to fuck him. Anyone would. He was one of the most attractive men you'd ever laid your eyes on. Probably the most attractive when you actually thought about it. He gave off a vibe that no one else you'd ever met had given. It was like whatever he was looking at, to him, was made of gold. At least that's what you thought because that's how he always seemed to look at you. The lust and want in his eyes were things you thought every girl had received when he looked at them too.
"So you don't want to fuck me?" He asked, following behind you as you made your way through to the garden where a mass of people were surrounding the pool, with a few inside, freezing under the moonlight. The alcohol was starting to get to your head and you hoped Jimin would leave before it really kicked in and you couldn't keep up the lies you were feeding him.

"I don't know why you think I want to fuck you Jimin, I've never approached you," you answered. "In fact, I don't think I've ever even looked at you. So please, go and get your sleaze somewhere else. I'm not interesting in catching something off you. I have enough illnesses to deal with in my life already, I don't need another."

You went and sat by the edge of the pool, watching the water glisten against the faint light of the moon in the sky. You'd taken off your heels and had let your feet dangle into the water, the cool sensation sending shivers up your body. Your gaze was focused on the water and the way it rippled and moved with the slight breeze that was pushing against you, everything else around you becoming blurry and out of focus. Jimin hadn't replied so you assumed he'd left, giving up trying to pursue you. Thank goodness. If he'd stayed any longer you would have been too blissed out to reject him, the alcohol giving you the buzz you had desperately needed. You tried not to think about the fact you'd just turned down the most attractive man you'd ever met, your heart hating the decision your head had made. The decision your sober head had made.
