I can control the wind. I can make trees bend at will. Water listens to me.
This is how I release my stress. Middle school isn't easy. Especially when you have to keep secrets. Today was the last straw, I can't handle another pointing finger.
But here I feel calm. This place is calm...... for now.
My cliff.
The one that's half an hour from the bustling city, on the edge of my island. Bordering the sea.
Slowly, hesitantly, I remove my hood revealing blue, green, and purple. My long wavy hair flows down to my waist.
I can't really remember when I got it. It just happened.
The wind in my hair catches me off guard. I didn't do that. Waves churn beneath me.
With my arms raised in the air I embrace the breeze, sending it back where it came from. Using my arms to direct the drops, I send a burst of water flying into the distance.
Satisfying splashes sound from afar.
Winds create tiny leaf-tornadoes that slowly grow. I watch the wind shift to land in the middle of the cove. Water starts to rise in a funnel shape.
Don't get carried away. I tell myself.
That's enough for today.
All is calm. I retreat back to my bike, slowly pedalling home.
The End
Hey guys! I was exploring Pinterest and stumbled upon the picture up top. Thought it would be cool to write a little scene about it. Not a very good one but I wrote my thoughts down.
