Her name was Athya, but 'Dragon Girl' was what the villagers call her.

She was in a dark cave with her friend, that's when it struck.

With fangs so white that they glowed in the darkness, teal scales that shone like the sun, a bloodthirsty grin, and massive powerful claws made to tear apart pieces of human flesh.

Athya's companion was killed.

Everyone knows that when you encounter a dragon, it leaves no survivors. In this however, that was not the case.

The dragon trapped Athya under its spell. She grew scales on her shoulders and neck, her jet black hair gained purple, blue, and green streaks. Her fluorescent green eyes glowed, lighting up the cave.

Then, they both vanished and we hoped that it was for good.

Mysteriously, she reappeared, with an egg, a dragon egg.

A riot rose in the streets, trying to bring justice to our once quiet town. They wanted her to be outcasted. No man with any measure of common sense would trust a dragon, Athya was no different.

Athya's anger with the villagers grew, night after night, justice was pursued by the countless men and women who wanted Athya gone.

One night, not to different from this one, Athya stepped into the streets with a bundle tied to her side. From the bundle hung a small scaled tail.

A new, undiscovered power was displayed by Athya that night. With her emotions, came a change in the weather.

When she cried, it rained.

When she lost her temper, storms raged around her.

When she was filled with joy, the sun peaked through the clouds.

Pure rage for the village she once called home swelled by the second. She was rejected by her own people.

The clouds grew overhead. The trees trembled as wind stirred, though it was not seen, the evidence of its passing was clear.

The wind blew through her once jet black hair, all around her, the elements were spun into chaos.

Rain plummeted down from the heavens, and the great wind tore the bark off trees.

The people in the streets were startled, their eyes filled with terror when they realized she was the cause of this disaster. They too, grew angrier, they could not stop her, this made them furious.

They yelled and screamed at her, but their shout merely fed the flames that burned inside of her.

Lightning struck the ground at their feet.

No one dared move.

Drenched in the rain water, she turned and stormed off into the pouring rain, she vanished without a trace.

That was the last time anyone ever saw her.

Legend says the dragon brought her unnaturally long life, and now, forty years later, she hasn't aged a day.
