I went back to Daniel's to get my stuff then went home to get ready. It was 6:45, I finished my hair. my mom had called me down stairs. She looked at my out fit.

" Wow sweetheart, you look amazing."
" Thanks.", I said " I'm going out with a friend to dinner, I'll be home by 10:30"

" Mom this is Daniel."
"Hello, Mrs. Hill"
" Hello."
" Ok, so we are going to go."
" Ok, bye."
We left and started heading to the restaurant. In the car I turned on the radio and sang to ' Lips Are Moving' by Megan Trainor. On the way there I got a phone call from Kenzie of course. I put her on speakerphone.
" Hey."
" Where are you?"
" I'm with Daniel heading to dinner, Why?"
" I just wanted to know where you were, Oh What do you want for your birthday?"
" I don't know, a necklace?"
" what kind of necklace?"
" One that says ' Best Friends 4 Life'."
" Ok, Bye."
I hung up as we pulled and we walked into the restaurant. We got seated in a small booth. Our waitress walked up.
" My name is Maddyson and I will be your waitress tonight." She said," What can I get you to drink?"
" A cherry Pepsi." I replied
" Two cherry Pepsi." Daniel said
" Ok, I'll go get your drinks." she walked away. We started talking. Maddyson came back with our drinks. We both ordered 6oz sirloin steak with mozzarella sticks. We started to talk while our food was cooking. 30 minutes later, our food came. Daniel whispered something to the waitress. After we finished eating Maddyson and some other staff members came out with an ice cream sundae.
" Happy , Happy birthday from Applebee's to you. We wish it was our birthday so we could party too, Hey Happy Birthday!"
" Wow, you did that for me."
" Happy early birthday."
" How did you know?"
" You told me in 2nd grade when you had your birthday party/ sleepover."
" You remember that ?" I asked
" Yeah, and I have something special planned on your birthday."
" I hope it is that night, because I spend the mornings with my parents and the afternoon with Kenzie."
" It is." he replied, " Make sure you have a change of clothes."
We paid our bill and left. He drove me home and we said goodnight with a kiss. I got out of his truck when he asked, " Do you want me to pick you up tomorrow and then we could go to Starbucks?"
" I would love that, I'll see you later."
" Goodnight, Tessa."
"Goodnight, Daniel." I went in the house and went to my bedroom to get in my pajamas.
