The actor stated, "I don't know why Ellie would make these claims when she knows they aren't true. After we ended things, I sought only a friendship with Melanie since she was close to my friend and co-star, Finn. But after MONTHS, key word MONTHS..we started to develop feelings for each other and then we began dating...which is the best decision I've ever made,"
Melanie has yet to speak whether to Ellie or to agree on her boyfriend's statement but sources say that Melanie and Ellie were once friends but haven't had any contact since her and Jack have gotten together.
