Yes or No?
After Natsu practically melted my insides with his sweet sentences like the smooth idiot he is, the mood immediately changed from steamy, to hot, to freaking playful. It was just too much to take in because it felt as if my heart would leave my chest and that's supposed to be a painful feeling, so I think I'm a masochist because I'd enjoyed it.
It was plain obvious that Juvia and Gray would come back so as I was flushed, I suggested we surprise them when they came back.
"Hey, Natsu, do you wanna scare Juvia and Gray?" I chuckled into the silence, finally in my own seat.
At this his face entirely lights up, mischief dancing in his eyes. "I'm in."
With that, we both get out of the car and practically run inside the house. Shutting the door and purposefully making sure to leave it unlocked because I know Juvia doesn't have a key just as yet.
I guess that's how he ended up hovering over me while I slightly peered through the spot in the door that allows me to look outside, his warm breath is tickling my neck and I willed myself still...and quiet.
Actually, I wasn't even aware that I was breathing. I suddenly became conscious of that, too.
"Natsu," I breathed out unconciously, feeling his torso suddenly touch me.
"What is it?" Replying in the same voice as mine, I feel him inch closer and watch him place his hand on the floor beside me. A crimson blush coats my cheeks.
"Y-You're too close." I whine, but he doesn't say anything. I literally hear him grin; the sound of his lips uncovering his pearly white teeth, making me blush more. I try to ignore it when I see Gray and Juvia pull up in the driveway.
"They're here! They're here! Hide!" My whisper-shout resonates throughout the quiet silence and I wiggle from under Natsu only to see him stand up. Phew.
I go and hide behind the plant that's fortunately, yet unfortunately at the same time, right at the door while Natsu holds his ground where I once was.
My heart rate picks up annoyingly once again, but this time adrenaline is coursing fervently through my veins and the excitement of it all is worth it as I anticipate their arrival.
I can't wait to see their faces. I have to hold in a chuckle at the thoughts of their reactions.
A few minutes later, Gray and Juvia come in quietly, clearly already having noticed Natsu's red sports car out in front. We hear Juvia shush Gray and tell him to be quiet so that they can sneak up on us and get revenge.
