"Mum why do you want me to be someone I'm not" I say to my mum annoyed. "I don't. I want you to be successful and get a nice young man to marry" she says with a smile. I still looked annoyed and said "but mum you can't expect me to take a subject in college I don't enjoy. Also what if I don't want a nice young man" she looks shocked at me.

I crossed my arms and she said "Emma why wouldn't you want a nice guy" I didn't want them knowing I'm gay so I said "well I mean like I just want to live my life not thinking about marriage" she puts her hands on my cheeks and said "your very beautiful sweetie so your going to be able to date a guy who loves you" I looked slightly annoyed and said "I doubt I'll be finding a guy anytime soon"

Me and mr gold went to his back room to speak. I sat down opposite him and he gave me a scotch. He made himself one as well and I said "ok talk" he puts his cane down before saying "you were always the one student in my class that was texting most of it" I laughed slightly and said "I only took your class in college to make my parents happy" he continued "but yet you always knew the answer. I'll admit you were my favourite student"

I smiled and said "thank you but why I didn't do sh*t" he laughed slightly and said "well I taught A level maths in college. Only people who took that lesson were people who enjoyed it. I could tell you didn't which is why I gave you less work" I looked confused at him. I sipped my drink before saying "so why did you send belle to hurt me for if you liked me"

He put his empty glass down and said "because I needed you here. After you left I kept running into Regina while she was crying. Eventually she told me why and I remembered how much you to were in love. I knew you still loved her and needed away to get you here. I also know Regina's father and owed him one so I made his daughter happy" I smiled softly at him. He smiled back before saying "I told belle I'd hurt her so she would come running back here and tell you. My plans always work dearie"

Shortly after I left confused. I couldn't figure out what has made him like this. He use to hate me but now he says I was his best student. I went to Regina's work to talk to her. The strange thing was she wasn't there. I called her. "Hey baby were are you I'm at your office" I say as she answered. "At granny's. I was going to see if you wanted to come for lunch with me but seems like I bumped into someone I'm not really happy with" she says sounding pissed.

"I'm on my way to explain" I say walking to her door. "Yes that would be a good idea. I'm sat down with her now" she says still sounding pissed. I hung up and quickly run to my car. I quickly drove down to granny's and went in to see them looking at each other. I go over and kissed Regina's head before sitting next to her. "Emma I'm sorry I didn't mean to sound angry over the phone I was just shocked" Regina says kissing my cheek.

I smiled and said "it's ok. I was going to tell you at your office but you were gone" she giggled before saying "I love you. Belle is an ok girl once I truly know what really happened" I smiled and put my arm around her. I kissed her cheek and belle said "I'm happy for you em" I smiled at her and said "thanks belle. Means a lot" I looked at Regina and kissed her softly. Shortly after we left and went home. "Well madam mayor I have a song for you. It's one lots of people love at the moment" I say taking her blazer of her.

She pecked my lips and said "sing it for me" I grabbed my guitar and sat on the sofa. She sat next to me and I said "it's called perfect because your perfect" I started playing the guitar and after a few notes I started singing.

I love your voice so much and you" I moved the guitar on the floor and leaned in to kiss her. After a few minutes I pulled away and said "thank you" She smiled softly and said "your voice puts Adele and Beyoncé to shame Emma your that good" I smiled and kissed her again.
