My Charming Mate

Chapter One

My name is Jordan White and I just shifted for the first time at 18. My childhood was average except for the fact that I grew up in a werewolf pack called Nightshadow. My father is the Alpha or pack leader which makes my loving mother the Luna. I grew up with two crazy overprotective brothers who go by the name of Cody and Chris. Cody is 20 and mate less while Chris is 23 and lives with his mate Christina. Christina completes his life and has definitely changed his player ways. Every wolf shifts for the first time at 18 and starts the search for their mate. When I was little my mom would tell me that the best feeling in the world is meeting your mate, who will love you unconditionally. I grew up dreaming of the day when I would finally meet my prince charming. Today was the day , I woke up earlier then usually and carefully picked out my outfit. As I skipped down the stairs I couldn't stop smiling. My father Jon and mother Arlene sat at the kitchen table waiting with a plate of my favorite foods. A stuffed omelet, bacon, hash browns, and orange juice. I grabbed my backpack and ran out the door while finishing my breakfast with barely a goodbye. Once at school I met up with my group of friends in the front. Jenna, Eilis, Hannah, and Katie ran forward and gave me a big bear hug along with birthday wishes. "Today is it! Finally the day I will find my loving mate." With that being said Eilis giggled and began mumbling about her mate Jake who had yet to join us. Jake sauntered up and leaned down to kiss Eilis lovingly with a big smile on his face. As we walked into Shadow High I smelt the most amazing scent coming from my first class. The scent belonged to the Alpha of the new pack that had just moved next to ours. He was in charge of the Moonlight Pack.
