Chapter 2

I woke up 2 hours later when the pilot announced that we will would be landing soon.
I couldn't even imagine what I looked like. I looked to my right to find my mom already wide awake as she was reading a Vogue magazine. While my dad was on talking on the phone."He's always on his phone." I rolled my eyes. The view from my little window was breath taking.

I decided to check my phone for any new messages to pass a little bit of time. 16 new messanges from Olivia. ((My best friend from  Florida)) I missed her so much.

*O ~ Olivia // A ~Abby*

Olivia: Abbyy.
O: Come backk.
O: You forgot to pack me.🙁
O: Fine dont awnser me.
O:Okay now awnser me.
O:A
O:B

O:Y
O:Are you asleep?
O:Are you dead?
O:Are you dead asleep?
O: Imma move to Texas.
O: Then im movining in with you.
O:And you have no say or choice whatsoever.😑
O:Please anwser me.😢😭😭😭😭
A: Olivia chill. Im not dead yet.😂
O:Finally! She awnsers! 😄

Pilot : Attention all passengers, please fasten youre seatbelts , as we are about to land. And Welcome to Dallas Texas.

A: I have to go my love.😦 About to land.❤ I'll talk to you later.
O: Abigail.. I'll wait for you.😢😔

When the plane landed we got all our luggage and suitcasses and called a Uber. I realised this would be the first time I was going to see the new house.

After about an hour's drive we finally stopped at the new house.

It was a beautiful house. We started unpacking all of the boxes and luggage. I immdiately started to unpack and oraganise my room, slowly but surely it was starting to come together.

After hours of unpacking I heard I a knock on my door. My mom opened the door ," Do you want to go grocery shopping with me?" She asked with smile. "Yes please! I just have to shower and change first!" I was still in my sweatpants and grey hoodie. "It's fine we'll leave in about an hour or so, we also have to buy Halloween decorations for the new house."

*Later at Target*

My mom and I went our seperate ways as she was getting food for the house , meanwhile I was looking for Halloween decorations on the other side of the store.
Spooky ghost , gravestones, spiders, fake organs.
I grabbed a few fake cob webs gravestones and 2 skeletons. We could always get more decorations at the party store. I honestly don't know how I managed to hold onto all of the decorations with no shopping cart. I started walking away still looking back at the shelf making sure I got everything I needed. That's when I bumped into someone, accidently dropping a few grave stones and almost breaking a skeletons bone.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't look were I was going! Are you okay?" I bent down trying to grab the grave stones. "No it's fine , I'm sorry I was the one not looking." I replied. I looked up to see a dark haired boy around my age. He bent down and picked up the decorations. "May I help you carry?" He reached out and took the skeletons and gravestones. "Thanks. It's really not nesscessary I can carry it."
"It's the least I can do." He replied with a award winning smile.
He's so cute. Where does he live? How old is he? Do we get to go to the same school together? Does he have siblings? Abigail , SNAP out of it!
"Hey , uh I never really caught your name?"
"It's Abigail. Abigail Garcia but my friends call me Abby." I started to looked around trying to find my mom. "Please to meet you Abby Garcia. I'm Zach. Zach Herron."
He somehow manages to hold out one hand under all the decorations and we shook hands. "The pleasures all mine." I said trying my best not to laugh.
"So where exactly , do these go?" He asked while pointing at the skeletons hanging over both of his shoulders. "Right there." I said while pointing in the direction of my mother and her shopping cart.
We walked over to my mom and shoved all the decorations into the shopping cart. I introduced Zach to my mom as they greeted each other.
"So Zach , do you live around here?" My mom politely asked.
"I do, I just got back home in time for the Halloween theme park to open." This boy is so cute, I thought to myself. "Uhm there's a Halloween Theme park here ?" I asked. "Yeah! It"s really spectacular. You should come sometime. I could maybe show you around?" I looked down. I could feel my cheeks heating up. "Sounds great." I replied."
