She pulls my arm down the hallway.

"Phil!" She yells. We both hear shuffling in the room on our right. She goes to open the door but it swings open before she can grab it.

"Kenzie! Oh thank god! Everything is fine now and sorted out?" He asks. You could tell Phil was freaking out moments ago as he plays with his hair when he's nervous.

"Yes Phil, everything is fine. Nothing to worry about." I say and smile. I'm still shocked about everything, how it turned out I mean.

"Well it's definitely a story for the books am I right?" Kenzie giggles. I blush embarrassed. She notices me feeling embarrassed and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

We look back to Phil, his astonished look says a lot.

"I am very confused. You kidnapped her but you two are together now?" He raises an eyebrow. I nod.

"I don't know how but it happened! And I am extremely lucky!" I smile and blush.

"Right.." Phil says still astonished.

"So what now?" I say. It's still pretty late in the night so there's not much to do.

"I can stay over maybe? I'll just text my mom I left the house late and she'll be okay." Kenzie smiles. That smile always makes me feel warm and happy. I smile back and nod. She takes out her phone and quickly types. I look to Phil who's just staring into space.

"Uhh earth to Phil?" I say.

"Huh? Oh sorry! It's kinda late so I'm still a tad sleepy." He yawns.

"You can go back to bed then, we'll see each other in the morning anyways." I insist. He nods and waves as he walks back into his bedroom.

"So.. you wanna watch a movie or something? Okay a video game?" I ask Kenzie. Her eyes light up.

"I heard you're really good at Mario Kart so I need to put you in your place!" She laughs.

"Oh it's on!" I smile.

Sorry it's a short chapter but I didn't wanna leave it hanging for too much longer!

I've been super busy with college work and adulting shit but I saw this and realized I never finished it so I'm going to make it a point to finish it for you guys who enjoy it :)
