Yes. His name isn't inspired by Jongin's dog Monggu trust me. I don't remember why but ever since I was younger I had always wanted a dog named 'Mongyu' for some reason I don't- He's not my real dog since neither my mom or dad (they're divorced and don't live together obviously) wants a dog so hiss hiss

I was done preparing my lunch, when I got a text from Jimin.

Chim

Nice. I didn't have work before the evening, so doing something productive would do me some good. Kris was already at work.

The idea of getting to know Yongbin made me happy.

A new friend, hm? That never killed anyone. Let's just hope I don't fuck this up.

"Byul~" I called for my dog. She soon came into the kitchen area, and accidentally tripped on the way.

It was adorable I must say, but she needs to be more careful.

~ Time skip ~

"I'm so happy you wanted to meet up! For my sake and for our dogs~ Mongyu and I haven't been out walked for a while." Was the first thing Yongbin said when we saw each other.

I nodded in agreement, and then we began walking.

Mongyu is huge and way fluffier compared to Byul, but he was apparently also a mixed breed between a Siberian Husky and Samoyed.

"Yongbin, you're still in school. What're you studying?" I asked first.

"Art and languages~ I learned Danish, obviously, English, French, Korean and Japanese back in Denmark. We learnt English and French in school, or well I could've chosen German but I wanted French. I took night classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays for Japanese and Korean. I've always drawn but I seriously starting drawing in 1st grade. We had to draw a toy, and although mine wasn't very accurate because I still wasn't that good at drawing back then, I liked it a lot. Sorry if I speak too much, it's a flaw I have. People tend to get annoyed by how much I speak." He explained and chuckled at the end.

"Are your parents Korean? If so, then why would you take night classes for that?" I asked again.

"They are, but my parents worked a lot. I had to get my grandpa to drive me to both Korean and Japanese." He said, scratching his neck.

Suddenly he fell forward, nearly landing face first if his arms hadn't blocked it.

I also felt a slight tug in Byul's leash. What happened was, Mongyu had seen another dog, and tried to run over to it.

The dog began barking, and Byul joined him.

I grabbed Yongbin's hand, and helped him up. The other dog was gone now, but Mongyu was still persistent about it. He kept tugging and barking.

"Shh, Mongyu!" Yongbin shushed, or well tried to, his dog.

A for effort, right?

After walking a little more, the bigger dog finally stopped barking.

"How did you and Jimin meet?"

"Well he was a substitute for my art class once, and we began talking, which turned into hanging out a few times. Of course I was in my freshman year. He was a one-time substitute, and I was lucky enough to had gotten his number during that one lesson. How about you? Jiminie mentioned someone last time. Kris, if I'm not wrong? Is he your boyfriend?" Yongbin asked and I simply nodded.

"Yeah, Kris is my boyfriend. We met at my first trip to Canada. I knew I'd be staying there for a few months, and living in a hotel was too expensive for me back then so I figured I'd move in with someone. My friend Jackson, who I didn't know at the time, told me about someone named Kris. He told me about how he was looking for a roommate, so I took the chance and moved in with Kris. When we first began talking, we immediately clicked. It was like puzzles. We fitted perfectly. After a night in Toronto, we eventually had to go back. When we got back however, it was raining and guess what. Kris, being the usual genius he is, had lost his house key. So there we were. In the rain. It was so awkward, but Kris made it a whole lot less awkward by doing one simple thing. He pecked my lips for a quick second. I was a little shocked since we had just met, but I didn't hate it. We eventually made out in the rain, when one of his elderly neighbours came to the rescue with an extra key to Kris' house. Why she had that key? Because it apparently wasn't the first time Kris had lost his house key." I laughed a little at the memory.

"Aww, that's so cute! Now I feel like the story how Jimin and I met is basic." He laughed a little.

I reassured him, and told him that it wasn't.

We walked around Hongdae for a bit, and ended up stopping by a café. Heh, like I didn't get enough coffee yesterday.

The dogs were outside of the café, since we just had to get our orders and then we'd take off again.

Yongbin ordered a matcha milk boba tea, and I got the same except it was with cacao instead.

"Mmm~ I love matcha boba~" Yongbin moaned at the taste.

I did the same with mine. Boba tastes really good so.

We untied our dogs' leashes and walked again.

"Tell me a bit about your life in Denmark." I said to him.

"Oh boy, I've got stories for days." He laughed. I told him to continue.

"Well, I was born in a hospital, in a city in Zealand or Sjælland (Sjaeland), called Næstved (Naestved)..."

~ Explanation ~

"Plus my mom gets to visit her parents every year, so it's even better! Oh boy, I talked way too much didn't I?" He asked that question again.

"No, not at all!" I smiled.

"What about you?" He asked.

"Well, I don't remember as much as you do, so I'll just talk about my high school experiences." I said as an excuse, but he bought it.
