Whispering filled the air as I yawned and quickly looked  around. The foggy mist glistened purple and I peered at the trees shining brightly. Maroon, teal, baby pink, sky  blue, the  rainbow all mixed into a whirlpool of trees. A sweet aroma filled the air as I looked up. I  was leaning against the pink and blue trunk of one of the biggest trees I have ever seen, it's leaves crinkling and swaying in the non-existent wind. It seemed ready for my arrival.
Suddenly, a secret door from the side of the trunk creaked open and inside was a set of stairs spiraling around the inside of the tree.
"Go  inside," a sweet  motherly voice said from above as an apple fell into my hand. I started to climb up the winding steps and took a bite of the bright pink apple. The taste of candy filled my mouth and I felt at home. This filled me with determination and I raced up the rest of the steps.
Glancing  inside the cadet blue room, I see a perfectly laid bet with a small, wooden  dresser filled with comfortable animal onesies and bubbly pink dresses. Though I didn't usually wear that attire, trying new things couldn't hurt! I chose a black cat onesie and started to put it on when everything suddenly flashed black. WRONG CHOICE. -1 LIFE. These letters screamed at me, pounding my head as I felt my grip loosen on the onesie and drop to my side. Once it hit the floor, everything seemed back to normal, but something felt different, as if I had somehow gained experience from that.
Walking towards the wardrobe once again, this time I chose a bright yellow dress, that poofed out at the bottom. As I slipped it on, I spun around self consciously and felt a breeze. Perfect, I though even though I had no idea what it looked like. I stepped towards the bed, not noticing the hole in the side. Laying down, I start to drift off to sleep as something stabs me in the side. BE MORE CAREFUL. -1 LIFE. Was I dead? What happened?
Suddenly, I popped back to the center of the room. This time, realizing I still had the apple, I placed it on the bed, which caused it to get skewered in half. Confused, I picked up both halves, I took a bite out of one, feeling determined again, and decided to look towards the window. Peering out, I took a deep breath in and looked up, realizing that there was a pack of food on top. I scaled the tree quickly with expertise I hadn't know of and saw a chicken leg, slightly pink, but maybe it would help me. I stored it in my pockets that seemed to be able to hold everything and kept looking through the bag.
