-One Hour later-
Blake was sitting on top of a building sitting on the ledge. He wore a grey hoodie and wore black sweatpants and had black and blue sneakers. He was contemplating on what happened to him and how or why he has this power they makes him incredibly faster than the speed of light. Blake is just a blur to everyone when he's speeding through the city.
"What am I? I don't feel the same anymore... I'm a freak.... "
Blake said to himself.
He looked at his hands and his hands sparked blue lightning a bit. He put his hands down and he sighed.
He then heard footsteps coming towards him from the side. He didn't look that way. Instead he looked the opposite way.
The male figure stood near him.
"Hey... We need to talk.." he asked Blake.
"Go away," Blake responded.
"you shouldn't be here.."
"Why is that? Huh?"
"Because bad things will happen to you if you don't leave..."
"I'm not leaving unless I get answers from you"
Blake turned his head.
"What're you talking about?"
"I've seen you run through the city. With your inhuman superspeed, lightning trail as you run, busting through people."
Blake looked up to him. The man he saw, was Spike Damon himself.
"Who the hell are you?" Blake asked.
"Name's Damon, Spike. I came to you because I want to help you."
"Help me? With what?"
"To maintain control of your power"
"My power? You mean my speed right?" Blake said as he stood up.
"Because who are you to help me? You look like a regular ordinary person!"
Spike shut him up by lighting his hands on fire. Blake looked at his hands and was in awe.
"But- wha- you- uh- how?" Blake stammered.
"I was born eternal flame in me. Didn't know I had it until ages ago."
"So you weren't struck by lightning?"
"Nope. Not at all"
"Wait, I don't completely understand. I have speed, you have fire. How would that work and how would you help me?"
"Just... Trust me on this.."
Blake thought about it for a bit. He turned and walked back from Spike but not too far.
Blake turned to Spike again and raised his hand to say something. But before he could make a word, Spike had threw a throwing knife towards him. Blake flinched and ducked his head to dodge the knife. He looked up at Spike.
"What the hell man are you cra-"
Blake was cut off by seeing the knife not even halfway across from him. To Blake, time had just slowed down. It was just as if Spike was just now releasing the knife. Blake was surprised that this happened. Blake slowly walked over to Spike he went around the knife which was very slowly traveling straight away. He then looked at Spike who was still in the throwing position and still looking forward. Blake then went to the knife and took it out from the air. As soon as he caught it, time was normal paced again. Spike looked forward not seeing Blake until he saw Blake in a different spot. Blake looked at Spike.
"How did- w-what just happened??" Blake stuttered.
"You just slowed time down."
"But I didn't know how I did it, it just happened!"
"Thats why I'm here to help you"
Blake thought for a moment before saying something.
"Alright then. But why do I need to learn more about my power exactly?"
"I'll just say this... Danger is near."
Blake was puzzled. Spike then explained why he needed to know more about his speed and warned about Drayak and how he was going to destroy the universe if he collects all 6 medallions. After hours of teaching Blake his power, Blake put the pieces together then understood what's needed then nodded.
"So what're we going to do about it?" Blake asked.
"We're going to form a team. An alliance to stop Drayak in his tracks."
".... We have a team?"
"Not yet. I know people that are able to help in this invasion."
"Ah, gotcha."
Spike then let his body lean off the building. Blake looked down to see Spike falling. Blake panicked for a bit until he saw Spike go into flames and he started gliding through the city.
Blake watched him leave.
".... That is so cool."
