Peggy's POV:
"Okay, what movie are we watching?" I plopped down onto the couch, hand-in-hand with Maria, who sat down next to me. Her baby bump had become slightly obvious, so she now wore baggier t-shirts to cover it. I liked it though; I thought it was cute.
I leaned sideways onto her shoulder, kissing her lips lightly.
"Hey, lovebirds, break it up!" John and Alex dropped onto the couch as well, pushing me into Maria. Alex climbed onto John's lap to make more room for me.
"Who are you to talk?" I laughed. "You're the one with your boyfriend on your lap. You guys are, like, physically attached or something."
"Or something," John laughed and kissed Alex's head, "definitely."
"Okay, okay, break up the love." Lafayette sauntered into the room. "What movie are we watching?"
"I dunno. Thought it was up to you to decide, Laf." Maria said. "It's your room."
"Fine. But any ideas, lovebirds?" I noticed that Alex was blushing. He seemed to a lot.
"How about the Avengers?" Herc ambled into the room. "That could be entertaining."
"Alex hasn't seen the first Captain America movie yet," John added. "Maybe?"
"Fine. The First Avenger." Lafayette looked it up on Netflix. "Found it!"
"Trust me, this is the best movie you will ever see," John whispered in Hamilton's ear, "The. Best."
Alex's POV:
The movie started out with wind howling and a scene covered in snow. I'd never actually experienced snow before, but I knew what it was. Dramatic music kicked in, and a pair of headlights appeared.
A man appeared, waving in the distance with a light held in his hand.
"Oh, this scene," Peggy whispered, careful not to disrupt.
"Shut it, Pegster. I can't hear the movie."
"Fine," she grumbled. But as soon as the people in the movie began talking, she did, too. "Are you the guys from Washington?" She recited along with the actors.
"Peggy, shut up!"
"Okay, okay." She did.
Peggy's POV(again!):
By the end of the movie, I was pretty sure that Alex was crying, but I couldn't tell because he was curled up in John's lap with his head on John's chest, though still looking at the screen.
"Is that it?" He asked, looking up to John.
"Nope. But we can skip the credits..." He leaned forward to Lafayette's laptop and scrolled until the credits finished. "There we go. Every Marvel movie has at least one end credits scene."
"Cool."
"Uh huh." Alex settled back to watch it, and John subconsciously stroked his hair.
"Is that a good movie, or what?"
"Amazing!" Alexander practically shouted. "What comes next?"
"Iron Man," Maria said smugly. "Robert Downey Jr. is awesome."
"But Chris Evans as Captain America is so much better than RDJ as Iron Man. I mean, perfect casting for both, but Evans is way cooler than Downey could ever be," I answered.
Alexander looked at us confused. "Does that have anything to do with the movies?"
"Nope," Maria and I said simultaneously.
"Okay, then," he said, relieved. "Let's watch it."
"Let's order pizza first," Hercules said, standing up. "What does everyone want?"
We all ordered, and I noticed that even though Alexander didn't ask for anything, John ordered another slice of regular with a glance at him.
After the pizza came, we spent five minutes eating before we got bored and had to start the movie.
"Let's go, peoples! Small Ham Man needs to watch!" Hercules yelled, pushing everyone back into their seats.
"Small Ham Man? Really?" Alexander looked at Hercules with a frustrated look.
"What? That's what you're in my contacts as," Herc replied smugly. "I thought it was very original."
"Okay, fine, Goliath. Whatever." Herc looked taken aback.
"Since when am I Goliath?"
"Since you called me Small Ham Man."
"Mes amies! Stop it! I wanna watch the movie already!" Lafayette complained.
"Je m'excuse, Lafayette, but Hercules did start it," Alex replied.
"It doesn't matter, let's just start already!"
"Okay, okay." And we did.
And I enjoyed every second of watching Alex's facial expressions.
And the movie.
(A/N: My sister came home for her break and she brought her doggo! She's so pretty and I wish I could send a picture but I don't think she'd let me. Luna (the dog) is so well behaved and she is so quiet, even though it's her first time at my house! Oh my god she's so precious!
