"Uhh... Misao? Is that you Misao?" I frantically looked around the void. "Misao!!"
My eyes blinked open to a bright light from the window. "W...Was I dreaming...?" I sighed, sitting up begrudgingly. "I thought I heard Misao... I...guess it was just a dream. It's already been 3 months..." I walked up to the counter where a bento and simple breakfast sat along with a note.

Misao never stood out too much in our class... She was just a simple girl, really. I wasn't too close to her, but I was always worrying about Misao being alone. I hoped I could be her friend but... that didn't happen. Three months ago, Misao went missing. She wasn't coming to school and she didn't go home either. She's not the type to flee home. I heard some adults saying that she might have gotten involved in something. Our class spread the rumor that Misao was long dead by now. I really hope they're wrong...I wanted to be her friend.

"Yeah!" I relaxed my shoulders and let out a breath, "Weird..." I pondered, barely noting our teacher walking in. "Alright class, let's get started." Mr. Sohta announced with a thin smile. Mr. Sohta is our home room teacher. He's very popular with the students for his looks and kindness, but I think he's kind of creepy. For now I can only listen to him lecture.
