Chapter 7: Women=Felines

Authors POV:

-With the Phantomhives-

"So that means I came all the way down here for nothing?" Ciel looks at the Silver Haired Gentlemen dressed in black.

"No, my Lord that's not how I see it. What I know is that I don't know." The man known as the Undertaker smiled to himself. "A good point. If he hasn't heard anything about it that certainly suggests that no one in the Underworld could have killed them, would you not agree?"

Sebastian responds with his hand held over his chin. Ciel looks vacantly ahead of him, unblinking at a realization of the information he's been given. "Yes, and if their bodies haven't been found in either circle then that suggests that they're still living. In which case, I suppose our only option is to personally investigate that traveling circus."

Ciel picks up his cane and makes his way to the door. "We'll go there straight away. Come, Sebastian. Undertaker, contact me if you learn anything further."

"Don't forget my Lord. Each of us is only given one soul... take good care of yours." The Undertaker advised.

"I hardly require such advise." The Reaper waves. "Are you sure about that? Hehehe."

The Earl and his butler make their way into the entrance of the circus. "So this is it," Ciel says. He and his butler look around before making their way into another tent. They find a spot near the top and both take their seats. "It is quite elaborate," Sebastian suggests. "Yes, but no more so than any other circus," Ciel responds and take off his hat handing it to Sebastian.

The lights dim until it's pitch black signaling the shows about to begin. Another light turns on and is pointed towards Joker who is center stage. "Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls of all ages! Welcome, to the incredible stupendous unparalleled Noahs arc circus!" Joker bows before pulling out nine balls and juggles them. "I am Joker! This evenings ringleader. It's a pleasure to meet you, it is!" He bows again only making the balls come down and bounce on his head.

The audience laughed out in glee at Jokers silly introduction.  He pulls a ball out of his mouth with his skeleton hand and suddenly making it disappear. Wowing the audience even more by the second. He was truly outstanding from the beginning! Ciel and Sebastian focus intently on the man before them. "A prosthesis?" Ciel questioned.

"Tonight you're sure to see performances that'll stun and amaze ya' and leave you breathless." As Joker calls out to the audience footsteps can be heard running towards him in the dark. The lights turn on only to reveal Snake, Dagger, Joker, Doll, and Beast in that order. While Wendy and Peter sit on a swing right above snake.

The crowd begins to clap at the revelation of the remaining show stars. Joker holds out his arms. "And now the great brawl from our very own fire-breathing Jumbo. The greatest show of the century!" Jumbo stands up aggressively while spitting fire in front of him making the crew run away in fear.

-Time Skip-

A whipped lashed across the cold ground as a ring of fire was brought out onto the set. " Last but not least the brightest star of our crew. I bring ye the famous tamer of wild cats." Joker yelled out into the audience. Beast put one foot on (Y/n)'s back. "Beast!" He finished as the crowd began to roar in astonishment.
