Levenson's P.O.V
I woke up early and took a shower, I put on a white T-shirt, jeans, black converse and of course my leather jacket, j grabbed my 9 and put it down my pants. I walked into kj's room and saw she was asleep.
"Hey baby, wake up"I said softly. She sat up and when she saw me her eyes lit up. "LEVY!"she yelled excited "hey kj"I said "let's go"she said "get dressed first"I said "yes sir"she said. (kJ up top)
After she dressed she came to up to me "I love you"she said. As I was about to speak my phone rung.
"Hello"
"Hey its me Michael"
"What do you want, I'm busy"
"The money, I think the guys ran off with the stuff"
"Goddammit...find them"
"Will do boss"
I hung up "what happened?"kj asked "oh its just some stuff I have to handle"I said smiling "okay"she said. I picked her up and went downstairs and saw my dad asleep drunk on the couch. "Ready to go the secret way?" I asked she nodded. We went Through the window with her on my back, we went into the alley behind my apartment.
The alley led to the rich side of the town where no one knew me and where people served the best pancakes for KJ. We were walking to the diner when I heard a gunshot. I quickly put KJ in front of me *BAM* I saw a alley and ran lighting speed with KJ in my arms.
"You can't hide from us forever Johnson!"someone yelled. "Hide don't come back till I say our special word"I said, she nodded looking scared "don't be scared baby".
I got out my nine and ran twords them "I ain't no hider"I said "your people owe me alotta stuff Johnson! " he said, ray Baxter the guy who we were supposed to give the stuff to was "listen my guys they ran off with it and the money"I said "what money"he asked "your guys paid us before they even got the stuff not smart"I said "listen.. *Gunshot!*
I shot him in the head, HE CANT SAY SHIT ABOUT KJ IM ALWAYS GOING TO PROTECT HER AT ALL COSTS! I walked back to the alley "mickey"I said. KJ came out from the box she was in "what happened levy? "she looked like she was crying "hey... Let's head home"I said "b-but our pancakes we have to get some today"I said "I know I'll get some after your safe-i mean home"I said.
We went back home without any trouble "be right back"I said after she was inside "okay"she said "go in my room and lock the door close the curtains and lock the windows I'll say our special word and then open the door"I said, she nodded.
I had to go to mama's its a diner on our side the south side, "pancakes"I said, when I walked in. Everyone looked at me. I cut in front of everyone in line "I'm sorry but you can't cut"some guy in a mama's outfit worked "I can do whatever I want" I said "go back to the end of the line or were gonna have some problems"he said. I scoffed "he's joking right? Did he just threaten me?you really don't know who I am? "I asked "n-no"he stuttered "oh are you retarded !what happened to your big boy voice? "I asked "thats enough!" Big mama said, the owner, "get your workers in line"I said "take your food and get out"she said. She handed me a bag with 4 pancakes in it "thanks"I said.
I walked home and walked upstairs to my room "mickey"I said, she opened the door "yay!"she said.,I put the bag on the bed. We ate "these aren't as good as sophies pancakes " she said " I know KJ " I said "can you sing it now"she asked "im not good at singing"I said "yes you are please"she asked. I nodded.
