I was about to stand up and walk away from the house and go to Michael's but I felt an arm grab me. I looked up and saw it was my dad.
"Let go"I said "son,I see you're hurting and I wanna make things right between us so can we talk?"he asked "s-sure"I said . He sat down and let go of my arm.
"Okay so.. what's bothering you?"he asked "a girl"I said "and what's the problem with this girl?"he asked Chuckling a little " she thinks I did something that I didn't but u don't know if I did"I said "okay so how bad is this 'something' that you don't know if you did?"he asked "really bad but I really like her and don't wanna lose her but I don't know how to keep her with the something in the way"I said.
"Does she like you?"he asked "yes but not so much right now" I said "okay listen I know she's mad at you but if she let's this thing get in the way of your realationship then she never cared enough to pull through it because if you really like someone you'll like them no matter what you have to pull through it until the real answers are revealed" he said "thanks Papa"I said "papa?"he asked "what's wrong with it?"I asked .
"N-nothing it's just that.......you haven't called me that since Katrina was born"he said "I'm sorry"I said "for what?"he asked "for hating you ,never wanting to be around you"I said "son it's my fault .....after....after your mother went all coocoo I couldn't see or think straight I'm sorry I haven't been in your life or Katrina's I just want y'all to know that I never hated you"he said "Katrina"I called "yeah?"she called back "come here"I said.
She came outside and saw our dad she frowned."what's up?"she asked "our dad wants to tell you something"I said "what's up?"she asked our dad "katty I never hated you I never did it was just a bad timing with your mom and how I handled depression and pain"he said "the cure to pain isn't something you buy at liquor stores"she said "I know ....forgive me?" He asked "f-fine"she spit out. They hugged and she smiled.
"Do y'all wanna hang out today and maybe we could catch up"he said "yeah yeah that would be great"I said and KJ nodded and smiled.
We walked to the diner and sat at a booth. "Okay so what's been happening with you kids?"he asked "well besides the stuff I told you I've been taking care of KJ"I said "oh that's nice"he said "and KJ isn't there something you wanna tell him about or someone you wanna tell him about?"I asked obviously talking about Isaak and nathan.
"Oh yeah um.... I have a boyfriend his name is isaak my best friend is a boy named Nathan"she said "wow um....may I meet them both?"he asked "s-sure"she said. "Okay" he said.
We talked we learned stuff about my dad and how he served in the Marine Corp and how he used to own a restaurant back in California. We never knew stuff until this day when he reached out to us. I haven't felt this happy for a while and I was laughing not chuckling or smirking but full on laughing. We told him why I wore the mask but he said he knew because I told him all about when I got the scar.
We told him stuff and we laughed . We arm wrestled and laughed we took pictures of each other making weird faces. We messed up KJs hair and they messed up mine and we tried to get our dad but he was blocking us.
We look like a family again.
What did y'all think of it???? Be honest!!! I know it wasn't my best work it's just that I'm having a hard time right now finding out ideas.
