Donghyuck's POV

We still have 2 days left to finish our project. Am I'm glad Mark and I is almost finish. We just need some finishing touches and we're done.

"Donghyuck hyung, can you tell Ms. Boo that I can't come to school today." Jaemin said while covering his body with his thick blanket.

I looked at him, not pleased with his answer.

"And why?" I said as I went to his bed. I sat on it and I touched his forehead. He is hot! (no pun intended)

"You're hot Jaemin." I said, worried.

"I'm fine h–" he said but I cut him off. "No Jaemin, you're not fine. I'm gonna stay here until you feel better." I said removing my blazer ans shoes.

"No hyung, you can't leave school because of me." He said trying to get up, but I pushed him back so.

"I CAN leave school because of you. And besides, you're to weak to cook for yourself." I scolded. He just sigh and he rest back.

I heard him winced in pain so I quickly stood up and I asked him.

"What, what's happening?" I asked. I saw him tear up a little. Something's bothering him, something's giving him pain.

"Tell me what's wrong Nana." I commanded.

"My back hurts like hell h-hyung–ah!" He said as he point his lower back. I called Solji noona so that she can help us identified Jaemin's problem.

Oh yeah, Solji noona is my cousin. She's a nurse in a nearby hospital downtown.

"Hello Hyuckie, what's the problem?" She asked from the other line.

"Hi noona, Jaemin is in pain right now and I need you to help me identify his problem. Can you come over?" I asked politely.

"Nana is in pain?! Ok I'll be there in 30 minutes. Bye!" She said and hung up.

I turn my attention to Jaemin and he is now crying. I sat beside him and I comfort him.

"It really hurts hyung." He said while holding his lower back.

"Shh don't cry Nana, noona will be here soon." I said as I hugged him.

Mark's POV

Where's Donghyuck? Why did he not attend school?! God, what happened to him?

"Mark, why are you shaking?" I came back to my senses when Renjun suddenly speak.

"No, don't mind me." I said as I eat my vegetables.

"You know, Jaemin didn't attend school today. I'm kinda worried." Jeno said as he playes with his spaghetti. He seems bummed.

"Maybe he's busy," Jisung paused. Jeno looked at him with his poker face. "finding new." The youngest ended. Jeno punched his arm and Jisung whinced in pain.

"Stop it you too." Taeyong hyung scolded them. The two of them stopped bickering and we all stayed silent.

"Why don't you give him a call?" Jaehyun hyung suggested. Jeno quickly got his phone and he dialed Jaemin's number.

"Hello Nana, why didn't you—what?! Are you alright? Ok, I'll go there after school. Bye, love you." He ended.

"What did he said?" Johnny hyung asked. He looked at us, worried. Something bad might happen to Jaemin.

"He said that his back hurts. I'll visit him later after school." He said as he eat his spaghetti.

"We'll come with you." Taeyong hyung said. Jeno nodded and we went back to our classes.

Donghyuck's POV

After 30 minutes of waiting, Solji noona arrived. She is carrying her nurse stuffs.

"Where's Jaemin?" She asked. I told her he's upstairs, so we went up to his room. He is curled up and shivering from the pain he is currenly have.

"Nana," noona called. Jaemin peaked at his blanket and he smiled weakly. "I'm here to check on you." She said and Jaemin sat up carefully.

"Can you raised your shirt?" Solji noona asked. Jaemin carefully raised his shirt and noona begun the checking.

When she accidentally put preassure on his lower back, Jaemin cried in pain. I comfort him again.

"I think I have an idea of what you are suffering from." She said and she list all of the symptoms.

"You are suffering from a herniated disk." She said. We looked at her, confused.

"What is that?" I asked.

"It is when the cushion between your spine weakens and bulge up, hitting your nerve." She explained.

"Is it curable?" Jaemin asked laying on his bed.

"It is Nana, just take some rest and go to any physicians so that they can examine you." She said.

We thanked her and she left. I went upstairs when the doorbell rings. So I went downstairs again, pissed.

I opened the door revealing Jeno, Mark and his friends. They all smiled at me so I smiled back. I let them in and I guide them to Jaemin's room.

Jeno went straight to Jaemin and they hugged each other. All of their friends asked Jaemin if he's alright.

"What happened?" Mark suddenly asked. I looked at him and he is looking at Jaemin with a serious face.

"He is suffering from a herniated disk, but his okay now." I said. I suddenly felt his hands holding mine, so I blushed.

"Why didn't you attend school?" He asked looking at me.

"I need to stay home, to look for Jaemin." I said and he nodded. He's still holding my hand tbh and it's making blush.

"I miss you." He mumbled but I heard him.

He misses me?
