Ch4 the mission

Minami's pov

Natsu began to complain the second we got on the train. I could tell that everyone was beginning to feel annoyed with him.

"Here lay on my lap, it might make you feel better." I offered softly. I didn't really want him to suffer through motion sickness. Natsu looked at me clearly shocked by my offer but laid down anyways. He fell asleep almost instantly and the rest of the train ride was rather peaceful.

When we had finally arrived at the town Nastu, Gray, and Erza were shocked by the sheet amount of damages done to the small town. We were approached rather quickly by a man claiming to be our guide. I admit I was more than a little bit suspicious of the man, but given my circumstances you couldn't blame me.

Needless to say we followed him to the Mayer's house. Upon our arrival it was very clear that we were not what was wanted.

"Do they think this is a joke?!" The grey haired mayor yelled as a we walked in. I can't say I blame him. We are a bunch of kids.

"Sir I can promise we aren't a joke. You shouldn't look down on me and my team just because of our age." My eyes flickered to a crimson color showcasing both mine and Kurama's distaste over his wording.

"You should remember your place you damn brat. These bandits are strong people! We can't afford to let them do whatever they want! Lives are at stake!" The mayer raised his voice further as spit flew out of his mouth.

Without another thought I let slip a tiny fraction of my KI. The mayer paled rapidly as his body felt the change in my demeanor. "I believe it is you whom should know their place. You haven't seen what we can do. I guarantee that we will deliver the bandits to you. The only thing I have to ask is do you want them dead or alive?" I smirked showing off my sharp canine teeth.

My words seem to scare the man further as he could tell I wasn't bullshitting. He slowly wiped the sweet dripping off his face as of he was scared that any sudden moves would result in his termination. My eyes remained on him while my team watched on silently.

I was surprised that they hadn't tried to tell at the man when he disrespected them. But I suppose I probably beat them to the punch.

"I-i apologize... I didn't know y-you and your team are strong... I-i would prefer if the bandits were brought back alive so we can punish them." The Mayer stammered anxiously. His tension carrying on as my eyes glared deeply into his.

"Very well." I nodded turning away from the man.I could hear him heave a sigh of relief as soon as my back was turned. I pushed it to the ba k of my mind as I focused instead on my team. "Alright you guys let's head out and see if we can get the bandits"

"Yes! Finally some action! I'm all fired up!" Natsu cheered rasing out of the room as fast as he could.

"Wait for me fire breath!" Gray hollered chasing after Nastu not wanting to be bested.

Erza and I looked at each other and rolled our eye at the boys' actions. We left swiftly in order to catch up with the guys before they cause to much damage.

Once we finally caught up we made a game plan. "Alright guys here's our plan. Natsu I want you to draw the bandits attention and have them chase you out of the town towards the forest towards the north," I smirk at Natsu as he nodded at me before I turn to Gray. "Gray while Natsu is leading the bandits to the forest I want you to make a trap made of  ice. You're going to want to make a thin sheet of I've for them to slip on first. Erza you're going to be hiding in the bushes or in a tree waiting. As soon as the bandits are in the ground attack with Gray and Nastu.I'm going to be in town making sure all the bandits follow Natsu. If any stay behind I'll take them down." I say finishing off our plan.

Before we split up I make sure to summon a few frogs to use as communication. And as a back up plan just on case. "Ok guys I summoned a few friends to help us. We're going to have to make sure all the bandits our knocked out so just in case in giving you each a summon. If something goes wrong the summon will come to me and I'll be at you side as fast as possible." I smiled softly at my team to show them how much I care.

I couldn't help the rush of worry that flooded my body.  Cub your team is gonna be fine. They're strong besides you gave them a summon all will be fine! Shikaku murmured softly as he felt my worry. 'I know I just can't help it.. they're growing on me and I care about them. They've been so kind to me' I responded back softly. We understand perfectly what you mean. We're worried as well cub. We all want you to be happy and safe with these people. His chakra pushes it's way into my body gently to encourage me and to give me extra strength.

We all finally split up and go to our areas to wait. We didn't have to wait long it seems as 12 bandits came rushing into the town to ransack it. I watched very carefully as Natsu gained their attention by throwing a small flame attack at them.

"What the-?! It's a kid?" One of the bandits looked at Natsu confused.

"Hey! I'm not a kid! I'm a fairytail mage!" Natsu yelled indignantly looking offended at the bandits words.

The troop of bandits burst out laughing at his words. I softly face palm at Nastu's pride. "Idiot" I groaned under my breath.

Natsu launched another attack at the men causing them to be irritated. Without a second thought a few of the men raced towards Nastu. "Why you little shit!" They cried enraged as Natsu took off. They followed after him leaving behind 6 members to continue the attack on the town.

"Son of a-" I groan loudly in order to catch the last six mens attention. Their heads snap in my direction as I show myself.

"Aww look at the little girl!" One of the bandits cooed at me sarcastically. His expression showing irritation and amusement at the same time.

My body language remained relaxed and uncaring as I looked at the men before me. "Hmmm...you all seem average if not below average... Why the hell did the town have such a hard time with you people?" I smirk viciously at the men.

I definitely succeeded on pissing them off right away as they all rushed me at once. "Six on one ay? I like those odds~" I cackle madly as I duck under a very sloppy right hook. I weaved around the man who tried to punch me and slam my elbow into his tail bone. He falls over from the combination of the missed hit and my direct attack. With a swift round house kick to the head he is out could.

Without giving me a chance to move or anything two men attack me at once. One going for my head, and the other for my legs. My hands speed through the signs for replacement jutsu. My body is replaced by a large rock causing both mean to break their knuckles. I jump at them as fast as I can move and hit them on their necks knocking them unconscious.

The remaining three wisely step back away from me. "Aww scared of a little girl now?" I taunt them my lips drawn back into a snarl. Their eyes widen in shock before filling with rage; however none of them step forward.

I roll my eyes annoyed before a very evil idea pops into my head. I slowly move my hands and form my least favorite jutsu. "Transformation! Sexy jutsu!" I call out as I poof in smoke and turn into my grown self. My boobs and lower body barely hidden by clouds. All three men pass out from nose bleeds. I shake my head as I drop the transformation and tie up all six men.

I drag them to the forest where I'm pleasantly surprised by my teams success. Their half of the mean were all beaten and tied up as well.

"Great job guys!" I cheered feeling pride fill me. They all smile at me and together we deliver the bandits.

Once they were handed over to the mayer we were paid double what was originally offered. I smirked knowing it was because I scared the mayer shitless especially when he found out I took down six on my own.

Without any other people to catch we left to go back home. Our arrival was celebrated as was our victory. Gramps framed our job request and hung it up to look back on in pride.

That night I was introduced to Laxus gramps grandson. Who I thought was kinda cocky, but I didn't mind. He reminded me of Neji in a way. A soft smile kept it place on my face for the remainder of the party and all the way to my home. My team, Laxus,and Mira and her siblings all coming to my place for a sleepover to end our celebration.

We all passed out pretty quickly. I was the last to fall asleep as I wished my tailed friends a goodnight before I drifted off.
