Chapter 1
Sighing Tyra looked over the street. Her eyes swept over the street slowly. Once. Twice. Then she found what she was looking for. White hair. Her twin brother was fighting against someone as he carefully moved away from the already fallen bodies. She brushed her white hair to the side and walked down the bloody steps or the pavement and onto the sidewalk as she moved her way towards her brother. As she turned her black camo boot scrapped against something.
Tyra looked down to find some she loved and cared for so much. Her best friend was lying on her back, blue eyes colorless, face in a silent scream, head leaning lightly against Tyra's boot. Tyra squared as a knife went whizzing past her head. She glared at a younger girl that had her arm stretched out like she had just thrown something. Tyra's eyes turned red just as the young girl's eyes did. The girl screamed loudly as she sank to the ground, clutching her stomach, as she started to bleed from unknown cuts on her body.
Tyra moved back to her friend and closed her eyes then stood up and walk to her brother that had finally kill they guy. "Damn that guy took forever." Xavier said roughly looking at Tyra. "This was a bad idea. We should go. Luna is dead and I just want to go home to Brian and eat and sleep." Tyra replied. They sighed and walked to the car. Tyra's went off when she sat down in the driver's side. Brian. "Hey guys. I just wanted to say that we are getting two new recruits but they aren't strong and they don't have powers. They are humans. Wait that's not what I meant. You guys are humans. But your just the powerful assassin's is what I meant." Brian sighed, "Away make sure the bodies are actually dead because Xavier you left one guy alive last time and he went and told someone about you guys. I'll see you when you get home." Tyra tapped the window twice with her knuckles. "Yes Tyra?" Can a breathless answer. "Dead." "Alright got it." He hung up the phone. She looked out her brothers window to make sure they were actually dead.
Xavier touched her hand lightly. Her eyes drifted to his mouth as he said, "I am sorry about Luna, sis. How about we go home. Watch a movie. Eat ice cream." He breathed. She nodded and started up the car. After a ten minute drive making sure no one was following them they parked about two miles away from the hideout and got out of the car. The sun had set and it was now dark so it was easier to look for people. Tyra climbed up a tree and onto a roof followed by her brother.
They moved silently to the chimney and slid into it. It took a minute to get down to the hideout underneath the fake house. Tyra tied up her hair and walked down the hallway without making a sound. Her crystal blue eyes widened in shock as she took in what was happening. There was a beautiful snow blue dress on the table with a black tuxedo while Brian, Sam and Ceil walked around the kitchen wear tuxedos. She whistled to get their attention. Ciel looked at her. "What?" He asked arching an eyebrow. "What is happening here? Do we have another mission?" She asked. He nodded. "We have to go to the ball in..." he checked his watch, "Twenty." Tyra looked at her brother making sure it was fine with his to work on another mission right after they had just got back.
Xavier nodded once and left with his tuxico. Tyra let out a log breath before grabbing the dress and slowly walked up stairs. "Hurry up Ty." Brian shouted. She picked up speed. Opening her door she placed the dress carefully on her bed as she walked to the bathroom. Tyra quickly showered and put her dress on. A knock came at the door as she tried to zip up her dress. Glancing over her shoulder she saw Sam watching her. "You left the door open again. Can I come in?" He asked softly looking at her with beautiful green eyes. She nodded and went back to zipping up her dress. Soft warm hands moved her's away and zipped up the dress. "You know Ty you're going to have to talk to me sometime. I know I messed up and I'm sorry. You're the only girl that has my heart and you know that." Sam breathed as he wrapped his arms around her waist. Her head dropped onto his shoulder before she moved away and headed to the bathroom again. "Babe please." He whispered. Her eyes glowed red then a whimper was the reply she got. Her eyes still red she glanced at Sam, who was clutching his head, making her heart sink lower. The man she loved had slept with another girl because he was drunk. He pushed the memory of him sleeping with that girl once more into his head as her eyes fade to blue again.
Tyra looked at herself in the mirror as a tear rolled slowly down her cheek. Breathing in deeply she grabbed her mascara and put it on. She quickly curled her hair. After doing her makeup she moved down stairs. A flash of red and a roar broke out as she met the boys. "You look great." Brian said with a smile. Xavier smiled at her. Sam walked into the room glaring at her as he sat next to Ciel. "What happened to you?" He asked. "She used her powers and pushed a memory into my head for ten minutes straight." Sam ran a hand through his hair.
Xavier moved over to her and touched her arm. "Don't use your powers for usually things." A low voice said in her mind. "I can't help it! He hurt me Xav. I loved his with everything I had." She screamed into his head. Xavier winced and drew back. She saw his look at Sam but then his arms were around her drawing her into a hug. "Guy I know this is a touchy subject but we need to leave now!" Brain snapped and left the room. Wrapping an arm around her shoulders Ciel guided her out of the door and to the car. "You're going to do just fine, darling. Enturaly you will forgive him and he love you more than he already does." Ciel whispered in her ear. "Until then look happy and cute so you can kill this guy." Ciel patted her but lightly then slipped his hand hand into his pockets and move over to the car.
Tyra's eyebrow hitched up as she put her hand on her hip. "Hey hands off her you bastard." Sam snapped. "Oh give it up Sam." Tyra waved her free hand in the air, dismissing the problem. Footsteps moved in and stop right next to her. "Aww so she speaks." Xavier said softly his eyes turning red and stayed red. She flicked her hair over her shoulder eyes turning red too as she looked at Sam. "Hey twins lets go." Ceil said as he turned on the car. We looked at him. "Sam jogged up to the car and slammed the door closed. "They scare me when they go to their nature color." Sam snapped as he watched Tyra carefully. The twins looked at eachother and walked to the other car. "Hey no that's my precious car that is not happening." Brian snapped. "I won't scratch your baby." She got into the car and started it in one smooth gesture. "Fine but change your eye colors back to blue please. People are going to look and if they see you have red eyes then they know you are assassins." He huffed as she sat in the back seat of his car.
Xavier looked at her carefully as she move the car onto the street. "Where are you going?" He asked suddenly. Tyra arched an eyebrow as she moved the car into the left lane. She moved her side danger out of her eyes as she speed down the street. "Slow down!" Brian yelled gripping the seat rest. She slowed down a bit but then moved sharply into the parking lot ten minutes later.
"We were supposed to get here in twenty not in ten." Brian shreeked. Tyra parked the car and got out calmly.
