Masquerade

Prologue

September 7,1999

  I never really liked school. Everyday I have to see the same
people, same teachers, and learn the same stuff every single day
for 8 hours. Plus,I'm dealing with a drug addict and achololic
parents and a dead brother who died a year to this day. I turned
of my alarm and got into my uniform, fresh and newly washed
for the first day. My day was quiet until,

"ADRIANNA SCARLET GET DOWN HERE NOW!"

Great, now what. I walked downstairs and see my mother with a beer bottle in her hand and my sketchpad, my now ripped up
one.

"WHY ARE YOU DRAWING ME AND YOUR FATHER LIKE THIS LIKE MONSTERS?! YOU KNOW WHAT GO TO SCHOOL!GET OUT!"

  I ran out of the house and tears threatened to leave me eyes. I
was walking half way there until the bitch and her possie came
running up to me and started to talk about me. I jus ignored them and continued walking, with earbuds in my ears. Next thing I
know, I got kicked in the back with a hard ass heel wedge. I fell
On the ground holding my back while getting back up agian. I heard a voice in my head telling me to kill kill KILL so, I found the sharpest thing around, which was a piece of metal I had found On the ground and slicked her throat. Her other whores she hung out with all fled in a foot of fear. I heard one of the girls calling the cops giving them my description. I said in my head,

'Fuck, I need to get out of here, like NOW!'

  I ran as quick as I can into the forest right where I usually walk in the morning and when I was running out of breathe so i stooped and saw a figure, a very tall white figure, alittle far from where I was standing hut It was visible

Slenderman? What is he doing out here? I'm not a 9 year old scaredy cat so he mind as well be of on his Mary way

As I was walking closer to him I heard the voice in my head agian

Hello child, follow me

And Slenderman was walking away so I followed him. I think he was the voice that told me to kill the bitch who kicked me in my back. I was walking for an hour till we came across a big mansion, with a lot of Windows but covered which looks to me like dark cloth and wood. I think he went into the house cause the next thing I know I hear,

Come on in child. There so much people like you that inhabit this household. But don't be afraid though. I'll tell them to not kill you or eat your kidney or feed you weird candy.

I said back,

"I ain't scared shit!"

Ok then. Well come in then.

I walked int he next thing I know I was pushed down on the floor by a dog.

Smiledog? If he's here then that means-

"Who the hell are you?" 

I look up and see Jeffery Woods, my childhood friend, you know before he went insane.

"Wow jeffy, forgot me already?"

He took a moment to realize that it was me.

"Oh my god Adri, is that you"

I nodded and smiled. He picked me up and hugged me. I hugged back and told him how I got here. He was surprised I finally killed that twat after what it feels like forever. He told me that he still has the necklace I gave him at the hospital when they removed his wraps of his face

                                              Flashback

Jeffy started to laugh when he saw his face. His family looked worried and scared while I just smiled, knowing what he was thinking. Ever since the day I met Jeffery Woods I knew for a fact that he was insane, along with me off course. He looked at me and smiled. I walked up to him and said,

"Here jeffy look what I got you. As a Thank you gift for defending me and lui."

I gave him a necklace that had a J on it and mine was an A. he looked at me and said,

"I love it. Can you out it on for me?"

"Sure!"

I put it on him with a smile on my face. After I was done he was sent out and when we got home, we had a sleepover. It was fun until he asked me,

"Wanna smile on your wrist adri?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like this"

He takes my wrist, grabs a knife, and cuts and outline of a huge smile in my wrist, but not to deep. It hurt alittle but I'm used tk the pain, having to deal with beatings everyday. After he was done he immediately said to me,

"Adri run to the forest I'll meet you there"

"Why?"

"Just do it ok? Nobody will hurt us anymore after this"

"Ok I will jeffy"

So I did as he said. I waited hours and hours wearing his hoodie he gave me before he left and in shorts. These voices came out of nowhere telling me to RUN AND I did. I ran deeper into the forest but I set up a camp for me cause I mnow I'll be out here for a while.

Jeffy, please be safe

                                          Flashback ended

I lifted up my sleeve of his hoodie I was wearing and he saw the mark or scar of it,

"Hey adri I forgot to mention what's your creepy pasta name?"

"Oh I'm
