you really felt at home, the way everyone treated you. you felt that you knew these people for years. like they were your best friends. you felt a connection between these people. and you genuinely meant it.
you took a slice of pizza before sitting down with the others.
"so whats it like being famous and being best friends with wyatt before us?" jack asks.
"i mean i'm not that famous, but being best friends with wyatt is really fun. i'm pretty sure he liked me in kindergarten for giving me that sunflower." you say thinking about that flashback.
"hey! do you want this sunflower?" the curly headed boy asked.
"sure!" the little girl responded, taking the sunflower.
end of flashback.
"i did but not anymore!" wyatt says from across the room. he still liked y/n. he loved her. ever since the day they met.
i wish he still liked me.
you sighed thinking of all the memories. you were happy you were with these amazing people, you were having a good time. you just couldn't get wyatt off your mind.
"why are you sighing?" a different voice asked. it was jaeden.
"oh, uh, because, of uh, cause of something." you really couldn't tell them about wyatt. it would've been embarrassing because you knew he didn't feel the same.
"whatever ya say."
you're supposed to be happy. happy to be hanging with the best people. you're not supposed to be sad, regretting your decision to be here. its the best opportunity before you drift apart from wyatt.
that night you stayed up watching movies with sophia before heading to your own room to sleep.
8:50 am.
you woke up to the smell of pancakes and eggs. it reminded you of your mom's cooking. you drifted from your mom now that she was so busy with work and other business she had to handle. you got that out of your mind before heading out to the kitchen.
you saw wyatt making pancakes.
"good morning." wyatt says.
"good morning." you say back taking a seat on the island.
you scrolled through social media smiling at some of the posts.
"what are you looking at, smiley?" wyatt asks flipping a pancake.
"just some stuff here and there." you say.
"so do you like it here?" he asks you.
"yeah, its really nice and everyone treats me like they've known me for years." you say admiring the boy making pancakes in front of you.
"that's nice to hear." he says.
you headed back to your room getting ready for the day.
everyone else was on the island eating their food looking at their phones.
you grabbed your food before eating it.
"i didn't know you were quite the cook." you say.
"i took a few classes." he responds with a mouthful of pancakes.
"hey, so where are we heading today?" you asked sophia.
"i don't know. does the beach sound okay?" she responds back.
"yeah, sounds like fun." you say.
"beach it is."
everyone gets ready for the beach before heading there.
AHHHH idk what im doing
