Chapter 10

Jungkook's POV

It's now been a week after the incident at the movies, and I've just realized I skipped a whole lot of days of school. My parents overseas are gonna get so mad at me.

I finish my breakfast and grab my phone from the couch. I call Mina who's probably with Ji Yeon right now and tell her to get ready for school. I hang up and place my phone down before hearing a chair screech beside me. I look to my side and see V looking tired after nights of no sleep.

"Are you gonna be able to come to school today? If you're not you can stay home" I say to him.

"I think I'll come since I haven't gone in ages" He sighs and lays on his folded arms.

"V, if you're still mad at Ji Yeon for rejecting you, please stop. She has her own opinions and she chose the choice of rejecting you. There's many more fish in the sea for you to choose"

He chuckles and looks straight ahead of him.

"I'm not angry or mad at Ji Yeon for rejecting me, I'm mad at myself for actually believing that I'll get a date for once in my life. I was so stupid of thinking that she will accept me, I thought she was the one, but because of my useless thoughts I've just embarrassed myself" He scratches his hair and gets up.

"I'll be changing now, call me when you're about to go"

I nod. He walks upstairs to his room and I hear his door shut.

To be honest, I hated the fact that V confessed to Ji Yeon. It's not like I like her right? Wait... Do I?

I shake my head praying that the silly thoughts would magically fly out.

Gawd I'm just embarrassing myself doing this.

I look up and see V dressed in jeans and a white shirt.

"Let's go" He happily says before going out the house.

That's strange. He was just depressed a minute ago and now he's all.. Umm I don't know, hyped?

I curiously follow him to my car which is a SCG003S that I got from my parents on my last birthday.

If you're wondering yes I am rich, my dad is a CEO of a famous clothing company while my mum is a clothing designer. I want to make them proud by becoming a world wide dancer and singer. I haven't been in Big Hit for long but I can already feel that this is the right company for me. Not just because the staff and the CEO, which is Ji Yeons mum, but because of the members in my group. We all have different stories and different backgrounds from the past, but after coming here, we all felt that it was fate that brought us here.

"Ya Jungkook! Are you listening mate?" V says waving his hands to my face.

I blink my eyes and realized I haven't started driving and also somehow Jimin got in and sat at the back behind the passenger seat.

"Mate, you zoned out for a while. I'm worried you're thinking too much about something" Jimin said looking worriedly at me.

"I'm alright, I was just worried about Ji Yeon.. I MEAN ABOUT SCHOOL! Yeah school!" I close my eyes and regret saying it out loud.

"Start driving mate" V said bored.

I nod and start the engine before driving off to Ji Yeon's home.

Ji Yeon's POV

I feel a lot better now after Mina took care of me the whole time. We had a sleepover and Jisoo also joined, we ate junk food the whole night while playing songs loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood. We also went to visit Jin at the hospital many times and he keeps telling us to not worry about him and he's healing quickly.
