So I'm sure you're all dying to know about Katrina's backstory (sarcasm). You know, about her brother and her mommy and papa. But hey, it's good to know.
So, Katrina was born in this little cave in London. (You know, that one cave we began the story with?)
Her mom, Crystal, and her dad, Devan, had another kid before her, a boy named Lucas.
Crystal's Wondla forms were the same as Katrina's, sort of. She could change into a foal, a horse, or a unicorn. Not a pegacorn though. Or alicorn. Whatever you all wish to think of it.
Deven never got to meet Katrina, cause he was killed in battle with the other Wondla tribe. There were two back in the olden days of lore or whatever.
Deven's forms were a lizard, cobra, and dragon.
As you know from that one chapter (14?) Katrina said she was born on a huge mountain not far from Hogwarts. Well, she used to claim that the cave was a huge mountain, because when Wondlas are born, they're super small up to until age seven, which is when they start growing normally.
She also said she would wake to see castle spires.
Was it Hogwarts?
Yup.
She feels like she remembers the interior of Hogwarts, mainly because she lost her memory.
That's why she can't remember her father, mother, or brother.
Speaking of which, Lucas was 'killed' in front of Katrina in his dog form. He could do puppy, dog, and wolf forms.
So he's out of the picture.
But Crystal was the one who wiped Katrina's memory, leaving only a few facts and stuff.
Crystal was taken away by the other Wondla tribe as a prisoner, because of her great beauty and stuff.
The Wondla guards didn't find Katrina, in fact, they didn't know she existed. They just finished off Lukie and left with Crystal.
So Katrina grew up all alone, with almost no memory of her family.
How sad.
