"so you're aspen?" jungkook asked

"yes jungkook, how many times does she have to tell you?" taehyung asked jungkook

"well damn i just wanted to make sure this was her. usually girls that i meet online aren't this pretty."

after jungkook said that aspen bursted out laughing. "you think i'm pretty?" she asked in between laughs.

"well yeah. you are very pretty." jungkook said.

"must suck to be blind." aspen said under her breath.

"okay anyways, what class do you have?" jungkook asked aspen.

"i have calc first." aspen said and rolled her eyes. she hated math with a burning passion and to have it first period made her a little uneasy.

"hey me too!" jungkook and taehyung said at the same time.

"well now i wanna die a little more now." aspen said with a little chuckle.

she looked at the boys' face to see their expressions. they didn't quite catch onto her joke.

"guys i'm kidding." she clarified.

"ohhh haha" taehyung laughed.

"alright lets go to class."

"morning class! today will be a little laid back because we have a new student!" the calc teacher announced, "come on up!"

aspen slowly rose from her seat and walked to the front of the room where the teacher was.

"why dont you introdue yourself." the teacher encouraged.

"um- my name is aspen jeon." aspen said awkwardly.

"hi as-aspen?" the students struggled to say her name. it really wasn't their fault she had an american name.

"where are you from?"

"i'm from america." aspen said while looking at taehyung and jungkook.

there was no reaction from her new peers.

"you can sit down now aspen." the teacher said and tapped her on the shoulder.

aspen walked through the rows of desks back to her seat by taehyung and jungkook. she sat down and let out a breath.

the school day went by fairly slow for aspen. she had most of her classes with taehyung and only three with jungkook.

aspen got home and threw her book bag on the floor and plopped down on her couch. she pulled out her phone and open the group chat.
