"Stick and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."
This is the simple childish comeback to people picking on it,
But nothing could be further from the truth.
Words can be dangerous, like a wildfire,
Paving a path of destruction leaving so many burns and scars.
However, there is light in words too.
You can create so much joy if you use your words correctly.
Instead of damning others to suicide,
Encourage others to keep living.
It may just be a joke, but what if the last thing you say to someone is something harmful?
Your words will now haunt you, just like it haunted them.
