Casually, he kicked his black shoes up on to the glowing console. Reclining his chair, he fiddled with the metal object he held in his hands. The TARDIS hummed as it hovered above a dying star, charging, getting ready for the next adventure. 967 years in her and there was still new places to go. A girl walked in from one of the many hallways that lead out from the control room. Her hair was damp and a towel was slung over her left shoulder. She had fair features, dazzling blue eyes and blonde hair that fell just below her waist. Her style icon was obvious looking at the high-waisted red shorts and black and white striped shirt - Taylor Swift.
"Ah! Ella. How was your shower." The man said swinging his feet off the console and standing up. He shoved the metal object into his pocket an walked towards her.
"Alright. Cold though."
"Ah. Yes. I must fix the water heaters." The man said smiling. He leaned on a railing and grinned at Ella. They stood in silence for a while. The man as if he has forgotten what he just said.
"Doctor." Ella says.
"Yes?"
"Water heaters." She almost whispers. The Doctor jumps, throwing his hands in the air and heading back towards the console. He flicks some switches and presses a button. Then he turns back to Ella and says:
"Sorted." She laughs slightly at the mad man then turns and starts to head back towards her bedroom.
"Wait!" Calls the Doctor and Ella turns quickly. "Where do you want to go?"
"What do you mean? We only got back from 5095 ten minutes ago."
"Ah, yes but, in a time machine how would you know. Besides... She's all charged up and ready." The Doctor leaned casually against the console and allowed Ella to join him. Leaning casually next to him. She thinks for a moment. Then...
"Alright." She says. "Let's go..." She runs towards the front doors, opens them and looks around at the vast array of stars and planets stretched out before them. "There." She says pointing to a blue glowing dot far in the distance. The Doctor joins Ella by her side and follows her gaze.
"Ooh! Good choice!" He exclaims shutting the doors and heading back to the console.
"When?" He says sliding across the floor and typing in the planets name.
"Umm... Surprise me." Ella says following the Doctors every move around the console. He smiles and laughs slightly then and laughs, pulls on a leaver. The TARDIS jolts as Ella and himself are flung into the time vortex once again. The Doctor laughs as the TARDIS is tossed from side to side and Ella grabs onto the railing for dear life. Suddenly the shaking stops. They've landed. The doctor pulls the screen towards him and looks closely at the screen.
"It's the year 1254,756 and this is the planet Karellious."
