Chapter 1

It wasn't that long ago when you first met him.
Not as your bully, but as your step-brother.

It was actually strange because his attitude towards you in school was different with his attitude at home.

He was strangely nice to you.

He didn't act like the jerk you knew.
In fact, he treated you like a princess.

You thought that maybe he was just acting nice because your parents were there, but even when they're not there with you and it's just him and you alone, he still acts the same.

But it all changed when you said you were seeing someone.

Your parents were happy for you.
But he wasn't the slightest bit happy as them.

It triggered something inside him, making him clench his fists and grit his teeth.

He went up to his room hurriedly,
without a word.

Thinking it was your fault, you excused yourself politely and followed him.

You knocked on his door softly, hoping he would open the door but he didn't.

"Taehyung? Are you okay?" You asked hesitantly.
"Go away Eun Sang. I don't need you."
He said coldly.

You knew he was cold, but you never expected him to act like this, in front of you and your parents. Though your parents weren't actually there to hear what happened.

Your parents had to leave suddenly, therefore, leaving you and Taehyung alone.

You wanted to apologize to him, but you remembered what happened earlier so you decided not do it again.

Something else might happen to you.
Something more sinister.

You laid down on your back on the couch as you scrolled through your phone lazily.

You heard footsteps descend down the stairs, and walk towards you.
On instinct, you got up on your feet and raised your head to meet his deep brown eyes.

"T-Taehyung...I'm sorry about earlier."
You stammered.

He...smirked?

"No...It's fine. Something just pissed me off earlier." A faint smile tugged on his lips.

He was lying and you knew.

"Is there anything I could do to help?"
You asked.

He smirked at you again.

He stepped closer and closer to you, your legs hit the armrest of the couch.
Luckily, you didn't fall.
His arms stopped you from falling down completely on the couch.

He didn't want to take advantage of you.
At least not just yet.
