hey um sirry I havent updated in a while but anyways here's a new poem... oh and please vote... I have 60 reads and im beyond happy. but my account only has four votes... but this poem is for my friend who's going through a lot of drama right now.

I hide my tears from you,
so scared of what you might think and do,
I'm terrified that my scars will show,
You'll just look at me like the plague and say " I know",
I keep my thoughts secret,
And hide them from you,
I do everything to keep you from pain,
but in all honesty it's driving me insane,
its not your fault and it never will be,
But keeping you safe is ruining me.

this isn't specifically for my friend, its for anyone who keeps their thoughts a secret, their tears a secret, their depression a secret. And do everything in their power to protect the people they love from feeling what they have felt. If you made it through the simplest things you're strong, if you made it through things that have made you second guess everything you do, you're brave, if you made it through the unimaginable, you're bold, if you made it through all of it, you're a soldier. Please let me know you're feelings in my inbox and I'll make a poem on how you feel, if you want I'll mention you on my next Poem but if not I'll send it to you and post it on here but not mention you at all.
