Lost
Lost.
Lost is what we are.
Lost is the one word that can be used to describe all of humanity.p
Lost is something that describes what we'll all be and what we all see.
Lost is all I can think and it makes my saddened heart sink.
Forever shall we wonder amongst hopeless lands to ponder,
about stupid things like happiness and joy,
but neither one exists,
You think you'll feel happier if you feel life's kiss,
But you're wrong.
You're wrong and you always will be
if you think that you can see the truths behind our untold fury and silent cries for world peace,
Your lost.
Whatever you think you can do, just take it and turn it cold as frost cause numbness be the eternal cost and blindness is the path you've crossed so take your love and take your justice,
just throw it away from me.
After all,
I just wish you'd all see.
The human race can never be free.
Because we're lost.
We sit and cry about how people die but do nothing to save that guy that has no family, no friends,
No love,
But laugh and think that we're above.
We started fresh but turned bad quickly,
The first day on earth our race was sickly,
And even after all this thinking,
and crying about how I wish I could change things,
I still see blood, violence and war. I still see hatred burning holes in the souls of the innocent,
while the people around us can't take a hint that maybe even though they're rich,
They can spare a few and not be a bitch.
That one homeless man sitting down in sorrow,
Won't even live to see tomorrow,
So why can't you try and change that fate,
Help him live,
Set him straight.
But we're lost.
We can't even find the light of day and if we do we just turn it away for a conversation with darkness to help us make everything ok.
We're lost and we will never be found,
We're lost and without a single sound,
A man will turn from man to demon,
He'll never see the light again.
I sit each night and can't help but wonder what thing decided to create us and what wicked game it had it mind.
On our planet it may seem nice,
But wickedness is all you'll find.
Our free will is what will end us.
You see,
every other animal was born to do a certain thing,
Live a little,
Maybe sing,
But look at us and all out freedom,
I didn't think we'd be so dumb.
Humans have more will than others,
Deer, fish and all the their brothers,
We burn down towns and cut down trees,
We take all things and create fees.
We're greedy, conniving, deceitful and ugly,
Even now I see it inside me,
But what I know is we're all hopeless,
A wilted flower,
We've all felt deaths kiss.
Not physically but mentally,
It's just something even you can't see.
As we stand to watch while the devil poses,
I realize that we're all black roses.
Not one of us is who they say,
And all of us will sadly pay,
The massive fee to set us free,
We'll all die on our doomsday.
But even after all this preaching,
I realize what I truly am.
A stupid, soulless, walking demon,
Amongst an army of so called "free men."
I can't do much to help this world,
But sit and watch as darkness unfurled,
Yes I said its already done,
It was finished by the first true gun,
When one man stood up and shot another,
God left us all and left his brother.
The devil is the horrid ruler,
I see it every day,
But crueler.
We're lost and never will be found,
And on one lonely day,
Without a sound,
A man will turn from man to demon,
Never to see the hated light again.
