The Blue Moon Werewolf

Chapter 1 Nightmares

I awake from a night mare screaming. This is the 3rd nightmare i've had this week and the same thing always happens, I'm walking thought calm beautiful woods when i find my self starting to run from a noise behind me. As the noise gets closer i realise its a pack of wolfs, they chase me to a small pond surrounded by rocks and tall trees. I'm trapped. when i turn around i see them closing in on my there eyes are growing red and there teeth are bared, then one of then attacks and it pushes my back into the water. I feel the wolf bite me as the others come into the water. soon the water is covered in blood and when i get free and come up for air i wake up.

I bring my hands up to my face and rub my eyes trying to make sense of what my dream could mean. After laying there for what felt like 10 minuets i decided to worry about it in the morning and that i should try to get a few more hours of sleep in before 6:00 comes around and i have to get up for school.However, when i look at the clock it reads 5:56,of course. I get up cut off my alarm clock off before  it goes off and stumble around in the darkness trying to find the light switch. After turning it on i go to my dresser and pull out the first close i find, A blue and yellow batman shirt with light wash pants.

"Aurora are you up?" my mom calls

" No mom i feel asleep with the light on last night." I reply with a very sarcastic tone, right now I'm tired and in no mood for stupidity

" Very funny... get dressed breakfast will be ready soon "With that i here her walk away. After i get my close on i through my silk black hair up in a pony-tell and put some blue eye shadow on to match my shirt. Then i head down stairs eat some bacon and eggs, say goodbye to mom and dad , and head off to the bus stop.

On my I pass my grandmother who is up bright and early racking leaves

"Hey Nana isn't it a little early to be racking leaves?"

" I guess so but if i don't get these out of here more will fall off and pile on top of these" so reply taking a break and leaning on her rake.

" that's true.. this evening when i get home ill rack the ones that fall so you don't have to. I would help you right now but i really have to go"

" I know sweetheart you be careful walking through the woods the wolfs are getting restless" she says starting to rake again

" oh Nana there's no wolfs in these woods" i laugh

'' but there is dear..and the closer it gets to February it more dangerous they get" she says in a very serious voice

" why whats so different about February?" I'm interested now..

" there's an eclipse" she says in a voice suggesting that i should have known this

" oh Nana those tells about the wolfs and eclipse are just stories" i laugh

" we will see " she says before walking back into her house. I role my eyes and head through the woods to the bus stop. when i get there my best friends, Nicole and April are waiting for me. April has blond hair that goes down to her shoulders and she has hazel eyes. Nicole has black hair like me but she dyes it.. right now she has a pink streak in it. it goes down to the middle of her back, her eyes are gray. My eyes are a deep blue.

" there you are .Aurora were have you been your late!" April says as she wraps her arms around my shoulder in a hug. i hug her back and reply

" I stopped to talk to my Nana she was telling about the wolfs and how an eclipse is coming" April and i laugh wile Nicole looks confused.

" say what? What about an eclipse?" she asks as the bus pulls around the corner

" My Nana us-to tell me stories about how there are these things called a blue moon werewolf. They are different then a normal werewolf, the only times they can bite someone and turn then into a werewolf is darning a blue moon, when they know what there doing, and darning a solar eclipse when they lose control of everything and go crazy".I explain to Nicole as we all three get on the bus. i set beside Nicole so i can finish telling her about the wolfs, April's behind us. " The blue moon only comes every 6 years, but eclipse's come all the time"

" that's not all. If you are a blue moon wolf then you can transform anytime you want. and the creepy part is Aurora was born darning a blue moon!" April says excitedly

" No way really? wait if that's true then are you a wolf?!" Nicole asks me

" No I'm not but Nana says if you get bit before blue moon or eclipse and the blood of the wolf is in you, you know like if you were born with it, then it doesn't matter if its a blue moon or not." I say

" Okay so let me get this straight.. If you are bit by a blue moon wolf darning a blue moon or a eclipse the you become one, but if you are born with the blood and you are bit say in the middle of a normal day then you will still turn, right? " Nicole asks as she tries to understand everything i just told her. Nicole just moved here last year so she doesn't know anything about the wolfs.

" yep that's right. And next year when Aurora turns 18 the blue moon will be back. Speaking of witch what are you going to do for your birthday party this year?  Today's the 2nd of October and your bithday's the 16th you have to know what your doing by now" April says as she reaches into her purse and digs around until she finds a pin and paper.

" well i thank I'm just gonna have some people over have a costume party then let a few of you girls stay over.. at least that's what mom said i should do." I reply as i watch April wright down every word i say. That girl should become a journalist! 

By now we have arrived at school, all three of us go inside and hang out with our other friends John, Kristen, Amber, Brandon and Mark. Not long after that the bell rings and we all so our different ways to class.
