As I walked down the hall I knew my life was about to change forever, my heart was pounding so much I couldn't hear myself think, I was really nervous
"What if they don't like me?, what if they think I'm odd" I was now lost deep in my thoughts
"Kimberly" a voice called from behind, startling me
"I'm sorry, I wanted to let you know that the principal wants to have a word with you"
"ohhhh"
"Yea by the way I'm Justin Smith and I'm in Grade 12 and you"
"I'm Kimberly, but I guess you already know that, also in Grade 12"
"Does Kimberly have a last name?"
"Yes Vermont"
"Nice to meet you Kim Yes Vermont " he joked
"Nice to meet you too"
"See you around"
I walked down to the principal's office
"Miss Vermont"
"Good day ma'am"
"How are you doing"
"Fine ma'am"
"OK dear I would love to make you to feel free among your peers, and your class room is Grade 12 B"
"Thanks"
"Good have fun"
As I walked out the word fun continuously rang in my ear, I was sure I didn't know what it meant to have fun.
If fun was anything like the Sunday dinners we had at our house, it was not something I was looking forward to.
I finally got to my class, the setting was welcoming but while I was looking around I bumped into the tallest, curviest chick I'd ever seen.
"Watch it weirdo"
"I'm so sorry"
"So where'd they pick you up from"
"I wasn't picked"
"Actually you were, you look like trash with your cheap clothes and cologne, do you shop at a dumpster, oh wait you are the dumpster"
I was completely tongue tied, I wanted to say words but they wouldn't come out, accessing the situation, she was bigger and the whole class was staring at me, I tried to get a seat but she wasn't done, she walked up to me.
"Get off my seat with your left feet"
"I'm sorry"
"Heck do you have a limited vocabulary or something"
"No"
"I suggest you go back to the dump site you're coming from here isn't for losers"
"I'm not a loser"
"Ah ha it speaks fluent English"
"you're so rude"
"Do something about my attitude"
"You're a really big loser trying to feel among"
"You better watch your mouth"
"Why?, did I hit a weak spot"
"you're stepping on thin ice"
"No I'm not"
She came closer to me
"I'm going to make you wish you never came WFH"
" I'm not afraid of you"
"Well you should be, cause I can make you're whole life a living hell"
She said this and turned her back to leave
