My heart was pounding, as I ran through the dark, narrow hallways. Whatever was following me was undead, but what is it? More, and more of them start to chase me. I ran farth, and grew out of breath, progressing speed every second. I finally saw another person, someone alive. Finally a little ray of hope. They noticed me too.
"Come on! I got this door open!!!" The rushed male said. I ran with the rest of my breath to him, and the door. We both ran through and slammed the door shut, locking it behind us. I was breathing heavily, putting my hands on my knees.
"What are those things?" The male questioned.
"I have no idea" I replied. My head was spinning, my chest inflamed.
The male looked at me. "I remember you, we used to hang out back in fourth grade through eighth grade. (F/N) (L/N), right?"
"Yeah, but you can call me (N/N). Aren't you Craig? Craig Tucker?" I asked, regaining my breath a bit.
"Yeah. What happened out there. Why were they chasing you?" He asked.
"I honestly don't know. I go to help someone, and they started to attack me, but obviously they are undead. What happened to yo-" I was cut off by someone opening the door leading to the other classroom. Bebe Stevens. I didn't like her, not at all. I remember in seventh grade, she tried to cheat on Craig with one of his other closer friends Clyde. Craig caught her and broke up with her. He was heartbroken by it. She tried to get back at him by telling everyone he was dating his guy best friend Tweek. That didn't go to well.
"Oh my gosh! People I can trust!" She rushes to hug Craig and I. Craig immediately backs away, already annoyed with her.
"Maybe you can trust us, but we can't trust you." Craig stated as he pulls me closer to him rather than to her. I didn't bother me all that much. I mean, we used to be best friends back then. We sort of just got busy with other stuff, and kind of forgot about each other.
"Oh come on! It was just a silly mistake. I promise I've changed! Honestly, though, would you rather hang out with those things trying to kill us?" She said in her sassy tone as always.
"Yeah." We both said in unison.
"Ugh! I'm not that bad!" She whinned.
"Let's just go find more people to recruit." I said, noticing that Craig was ready to snap on her. He had very little patients with her. I mean, who could blame him? She practically ruined his middle school and freshman years.
"Yeah, you're right" He said walking fast. I let him take the lead, so he didn't have to be too close to Bebe. After walking through a few classrooms, we heard people.
"I blame you! You jewish boy!" A familiar voice said. It was definitely Eric talking to Kyle.
"Shut up fat boy! I didn't have anything to do with this." The annoyed Kyle said.
"Yes you did! You used your jewish powers to bring people back from the dead, to come and eat us normies!" Eric accused him.
"Eric, jewish people don't have magical powers to bring back dead people to kill us. Seriously, you are thinking like a fourth grader" I said.
"Oh. Well isn't it Ms. 'I have a crush on Craig'" Eric smirked devilishly.
"WHAT?!" I freaked out.
"Shut up fat boy. No one likes your rude remarks. Go date Bebe will ya? You guys are so alike" Craig defended.
"Hey! I am nothing like him!" Bebe said. Everyone but her and Eric gave her a 'Mmhm'.
"You're so negative Craig jeez" Eric tried to insult. Everyone started to argue. Soon after, Stan and Wendy ran through the door.
"GUYS WE HAVE SOME TROUBLE!" They ran through trying to shut the door. My little ray of hope soon vanished. The undead ran through the door after Stan and Wendy, and then I was grabbed, being shoved to the ground, I saw a small white light.
Has my life cut short?
TO BE CONTINUED. . .

(A/N): Okay, okay, it's short I know. I decided to make this off of a school assignment we were doing. We had to pick one of the prompts he gives us and we right a short story. I was allowed to do a 'to be continued' so, I took the chance to make a story. So don't judge that it is short. The next chapter will be longer. This is mainly just to get you ready for the story. Anyway, thank you for reading! Love you all! Bye bye!
