Insecure

*Salem's POV*

"Thank you for letting us stay," Courtney gave Tina a hug and then LaVar.
"Thank you guys," I smiled and gave Tina a hug and kiss on her cheek. I gave LaVar a hug after. "No problem! We will see you guys in a few days!" LaVar walked us to the door and we left. I got into my car and drove back to LA. On my way I decided to call Cole. He picked up pretty much right away. "How'd it go?" he asked.
"Could've gone better," I sighed.
"What did the wicked witch of the west do now?" he asked, scoffing.
"She just," I sighed, "I don't know. It was just like this tension between us and then we got into a fight about it and then like LaVar talked to us about it and I think that she is just in it for the fame but Courtney disagrees and thinks I'm insecure cause they are in love and I have been fucking Gelo," I sighed.
"You stopped though didn't you?" he asked.
"Yeah but I used to so I don't know," I shrugged, "I don't think that I'm insecure about it."
"I don't think so either. I think you're just mad cause of how everything went down. Like he was with you and she didn't want him and now she does so you have less of a chance with Gelo now," he explained. I thought about it for a second and sighed. "Yeah I think so," I spoke softly and continued to drive, "I think you're right."
"I know I am," he told me. I laughed a bit and nodded. "You always are, but anyways I'm going to be home soon love you bih."
"Love you woe," he hung up and I put my phone down on my lap as I continued to drive.

"How was your weekend?" my dad asked as Courtney and I both got home not much longer than the other.
"It was good, Salem got into a fight what a surprise," Courtney scoffed.
"What kind of a fight?!" my dad looked at me.
"It wasn't a fight," I shook my head, "It was a disagreement with Izzy cause Gelo and I are friends and she thinks I'm getting between them."
"Oh," my dad nodded.
"Which I'm not cause I don't even talk to him anymore," I sat up more in my chair and shrugged, "I'm going to take a shower," I spoke and stand up. I went upstairs and went to my room. I sighed a little bit and shut my door behind me. I heard my phone go off and I grabbed it out of my pocket. It was Gelo, of course.

Gelo-
What did Izzy say to you?

Me-
What do you mean?

Gelo-
What did she say to you to make you stop talking to me.

Me-
You think it's her fault?

Gelo-
Yeah I do.

Me-
Ask her, check her texts and see the threats. Bye Gelo.

I put my phone down on my bed and got stuff to take a shower. I went to my bathroom and started the shower. I stripped my clothes off and ran my hands over my face. This was supposed to be something fun, make new friends. It is turning out into a stressful mess.

Once I got out of the shower I put on a pair of spandex and a big tee shirt. I let my hair out of the towel to air dry and I went downstairs, as I was being called. "Yeah?" I asked my mom.
"Your father and I are going out for the night, we wont be too late but behave you two okay? No fighting please."
"Okay," I nodded and Courtney nodded as well.
"We will be back around 11," my dad told us. They gave us each a hug and a kiss and then they were off. I went upstairs and back to my room. I took a picture of my legs on my bed and started to type. "Parents aren't home HMU" I meant to send it to Cole but I hit LiAngelo's name by accident. Shit.

Me-
Wasn't for you

Gelo-
Maybe it was. I'm back in LA, just got back actually.

Me-
It was for Cole.

Gelo-
Ight.

I put my phone down and turned Netflix on. I started to watch a movie until I heard a knock at the door. I went out to the hallway and Courtney yelled at me to get the door. I rolled my eyes and went downstairs. I opened the door and there LiAngelo was. "I told you that text wa-" he cut me off. "Shut up," he chuckled, "I know but I came here to talk to you in person seeing you won't talk to me any other way. Please tell me why you stopped talking to me all of a sudden."
"Ask your girl-" he cut me off again.
"You tell me Salem," he told me.
"Stop fucking cutting me off," I snapped, "Ask your girlfriend why. She is the one threatening me cause she doesn't wanna lose the fame that comes with dating a famous basketball player."
"You really believe that?" he asked.
"Yup," I nodded.
"I always thought it but I never thought it was true," he shrugged, looking at me.
"Well I believe it. She told me you guys weren't doing okay and then when you actually started to slip away she needed a reason to have you back and a person to blame for the slip to cause more drama for the show," I shrugged.
"I'm sorry you're getting tied into it," he sighed.
"It's whatever," I shook my head.
"No it's not," he looked at me. I jogged to his car and got something out of the backseat. He came back and handed me the plastic bag. I looked at him confused but opened the bag. "Please," he started, "Please don't ignore me anymore. I cant take it." I looked in the bag and there was my favorite candy along with an Arizona green tea. I smiled up at him. "You remembered?" I smiled.
"How could I forget?"
