"Mama!" Normani yells excitedly as she runs towards Ally, throwing her arms around her mother's legs only to be picked up.
"Hi baby! You give the best cuddles Mani." Ally greets, holding the girl tightly in her arms as she walks through to the kitchen.
The second she walks through the door, she is attacked by another little body and she quickly sets Normani on the floor before gathering Camila up into her arms.
"Mamaaa!" The toddler cries, burying her face in her mother's neck.
"Hey, shh Mila, it's okay angel. What's wrong, hmm?" She asks, sending a confused glance Dinah's way as she rubs the two year old's back.
The younger blonde rolls her eyes at her wife, looking sympathetically at her children and moving to get Lauren out of her highchair.
"No leave 'gain p'ease." She hears Camila sniffle.
"I only went to work sweetheart." Ally replies, moving over to Dinah and trying to kiss her cheek, frowning when the younger woman moves away. Sighing to herself, she leans forward to kiss Lauren's head and smiling to herself when the baby excitedly reaches for her.
"Hey nena, are you being good for Mommy?" She coos, trying to pass Camila to Dinah only to hold her closer when her daughter starts to cry loudly.
"Shh baby, it's okay Mama'll hold you bug. It's okay sweetheart." She soothes looking to her wife for help as the small girl nuzzles against her chest.
"She wants to nurse, Ally. Both of them do. Take Camila and I'll bring Lo soon." Rolling her eyes, Dinah moves over to Normani and slowly leads her out of the room.
"Mommy?" The seven year old asks hesitantly.
"Yeah babe?"
"Why didn't Mama know what Mila wanted?" Her Mama always knew what to do when one of them was upset, so why didn't she now?
"She just forgot for a second hon. Let's get you in the bath, hmm?"
"Do I have to?"
"Yep, and I need you to be my big helper with Lauren, do you think you can do that?"
"Mhm."
"Thank you baby."

"She's asleep." Dinah mumbles as she enters Lauren's nursery, seeing Ally still breastfeeding their youngest.
"That's good, she nursed for ages tonight. Is she still not feeling well?" The shorter woman asks cluelessly, adjusting the baby in her arms.
"Actually she's fine and Normani's fever broke this afternoon. The only one that's still not feeling great is Lauren."
"I wonder what was up with her then." She murmurs making the younger blonde scoff and leave the room.
Heading down the hall, she makes her way into Normani's room, seeing the girl reading on her bed.
"I hope you're not starting without me." She teases, moving to sit on the bed.
"I'm just picking a new one." The child replies, continuing to look over the books in front of her. They had finished Snow White the previous night and Normani was eager to start a new story
After a few minutes, they hear a knock on the door causing them both to look up. "Hey guys, reading Snow White again?"
"We finished it." Dinah says shortly, playing with her daughter's hair.
"Oh. What are you reading next?" Ally asks, sitting on Normani's other side.
"I haven't decided yet." The seven year old mumbles, continuing to look over the books.
"How about Cinderella?" She offers.
"We've read that already. Mommy? Can we read Peter Pan please?" Normani asks looking to her other mother.
"Of course we can babe, I'm just gonna change and then we'll start, okay?"
"Okay." She nods, climbing off her bed to put the rest of the books away as Dinah leaves the room.
"Come give Mama a cuddle baby, I feel like I haven't seen you for ages." She hears Ally say and she pauses for a moment as she thinks.
Climbing back onto her bed, she moves to sit beside her mother but doesn't hug her.
"Are you okay sweetheart?" Ally questions, noticing the small girl's silence and hesitancy to hug her.
"Yeah."
"Are you sure?" She ask pulling the girl into her arms.
"You made Mommy sad." Normani mumbles, hiding her face.
"I did?" Looking confused, she pulls away from her daughter slightly so she can see her face.
"Mhm.
"How did I make her sad, angel?" Receiving a shrug, she sighs and hugs the girl tighter, only letting go when Dinah walks back into the room.
"You ready babe?" The young blonde asks as she sits down on the bed, smiling when her daughter moves to sit on her lap.
"Mhm, can you read tonight please Mommy?"
"Of course." She nods, watching as Ally stands from the bed, excusing herself to shower.
After getting comfortable, Dinah pulls up the covers and opens the book, clearing her throat as she starts to read. "All Children, except one, grow up. They soon know that they will grow up, and the way Wendy knew was this..."
