Chapter Three.

“So this is it.” He said just after they called his flight.

“This is it.”

“Video chat, Skype, Facetime, Call, Text, all that stuff everyday, ok? It’ll be like I’m there, but.. On a screen I guess.”

“Yeah.” I said.

“I’ve got to go now, Kelly.” A tear escaped my eye, but didn’t roll down my cheek. Cameron had wiped it with his thumb.

“Please don’t cry baby. I love you so much.”

His lips met mine, probably for the last time ever. How would this ever work out? He was traveling the country and all we could do was Video chat & text for the next year? This would never work out.

I savored this kiss, since it was (once again) probably our last. The sparks ignited in my stomach, while I felt butterflies. It was like this all the time. And no matter how cliche it sounds, it’s what I actually felt.

“Goodbye Page.” He said with a smirk, calling me by my last name.

“Goodbye Dallas.” I smiled.

And with that, he turned away and walking into the terminal.

Never to be seen again.
