Dinah pov~

When Y/n said she might love someone, my heart just dropped. Was I too late. I might be guarded but I really did want to try it with Y/n I just really get the butterflies with her.

"Dinah!" Lauren yelled at me. We're at Y/n's house, because it like our second home now.

"Yeah hold upppp." I huff and walk downstairs. Today we had nothing to do so I was just dreading today.

"What do y'all crazies want, unless queen B is here I don't want to hear it." I say while gritting my teeth.

I hear a cough and instantly freak.
"WHAT IS BEYONCE DOING HERE!!!!!!!!!!" I barely squeak out.

"Oh well me and B, were supposed to duet on the song I wrote. We were gonna go to the studio but I I I thought why not bring Dinah her idol?" Y/n answers while looking down.
Why is she embarrassed? This is honestly the best present ever.

I waste no time and engulf Y/n in a huge hug. "Thanks," I whisper.

I awkwardly walk closer to Beyonce and try to keep my cool.
"Hello Beyonce, I'm Dinah."
Beyonce looks at me and says,
" Come on you don't have to be so formal I know you want to fangirl."

I shreak and instantly bombard Beyonce with a million questions.

"Calm down, it's only me." She pats my back!!! OMG! Beyonce just patted my back. I was going to respond, but then Y/n spoke up.

" Dinah I'm sorry but me and Bey kind of have to record the song now. You and Lauren can come, you could wake up the others to come too."

"Yeah Laur and I will go, but hell nah I ain't waking the others!!! They'll steal Beyonce from me!!!"

Beyonce and Y/n start walking off, and Lauren and I follow closely behind.
We walk into the studio and Y/n and Beyonce sit on the swivel chairs next to the panel.

" Ok so Bey the songs called Let me love you." Beyonce nods at Y/n to continue.

" And you'll sing one part of the chorus I'll sing the second, then we'll sing  together for the last verse."

"Ok let's get this song popping!" Beyonce walks into the booth and puts her headphones on.

"Girls do y'all know how to work the soundboard?" Y/n asks.

"Yeah we can do it, just go." I reply.
Y/n quickly enters in the booth and takes a seat next to Beyonce.
Y/n gives me a thumbs up, I start the track and hit record.

The beat to the song fills the room then, Y/n starts singing.

Y/n was stealing quick glances at me throughout the whole song. A tear slipped my eye, because that song summed up all of my insecurities and the ways I was hurt.
