Chapter 2

Carter's POV

As soon as the bell rang I got out of class.I went to my locker to put my stuff away. A note slid past my feet. I pick it up and opened it. It was from Nicole. I wrote back to her quickly. I didnt understand why she wanted to see me in the park today. Was something wrong? Did I do something? I don't even know. I went to my science class where I see Nicole. I sat with behind her because she was sitting with her partner Stephany. Class begins and I pass her a note saying Did something happen? I tell Steph to give it to her. She writes back saying. Its nothing beetween us its because of my family. Now I get her. Lately she has been having problems with her  sister Andrea. I think its because of that. I write back saying Is it because of Andrea?  I throw the note too Steph but it slides all the way to the teachers foot.                                                                                                                                                                                   "What do we have here Reynolds and James" The teacher unfolds the paper and reads it. "You two will have an after school detention!." I feel so stupid throwing that note to her. I should just have gaven it to Steph.
