I'm just a random senior in high school. Well not random, I'm actually the top student in the whole distract at least, just like my father. I don't know much about him, I just know he went crazy with power and ended up getting him killed, I don't blame him. Everyone wants power. Oh and my mother, well she was a bit of an obsessed freaks. Well she was a huge obsessed freak. If you haven't put one and one together yet, my mom is Misa Amona.

Where is she now? Well she killed herself due to her being so depressed after my fathers' death. I was 3 at the time and was instantly put into an orphanage and was adopted not too long after. Everyone just sort of forgot about the whole Kira thing involving my family apparently. Or t just thought I was too little to be any part of it. That was all 15 years ago, meaning I am now 18, legal to go out to clubs here in Japan. This is actually where I'm writing this little thing.

I came here with a few friends since we just finished with our terms so we have a few weeks off for break, meaning a whole few weeks doing nothing for me. I'm getting so I'm going for a walk.

I walk out of the earsplitting club were it instantly felt colder and clearer. I continue to walk for a bit until something hits me right in my face, making me fall.

"What the fuck bitch?" I cursed out loud to what I assumed was a person. When I get up, I looked around to see that I was nowhere near someone, making me then look at the road in front of me, seeing a black composition notebook facing down. "Oh" I squat down, picking it up and taking a look at the front cover.

"How ironic, a Death Note" I shrugged. 'Yeah right, I'm being pranked' I thought to myself. But just for safe keeping if this was real, I placed it in my book bag and continued walking away towards my apartment.
