Jc was walking up the stairs when he heard a guitar playing, coming from Kian's room.
He heard him singing Better.

Jc smiled and started to walk to Kian's room. His door was open so Jc just stood in the doorway, Kian not noticing him.
"It's a love that will keep me holding on. And I know that we can only get better."
Jc smiled but it turned into a frown as he started crying, hearing Kian sing made him want to cry he had such a beautiful voice.
He couldn't help but imagine Kian singing about Jc.
Kian must've heard Jc sniffle cause he stopped playing mid song and got up to see Jc leaning on the doorway with his arm crossed, face red, and tears streaming down his chubby face.
"Oh hey. Umm, are you okay?"
Kian asked sounding concerned.
Jc just closed his eyes and shook his head while smiling.
"I'm fine. Perfect actually."
Kian looked at him in confusion.
"So, what's wrong? Why were you crying?"
Kian looked him up and down. Before his eyes could come back up, Jc had reached Kian and hugged him tight.
Kian didn't resist the hug, realizing what he was crying about.
"God you have such a beautiful voice Kian."
Jc said as he sighed into Kian's shoulders
Kian couldn't help but smile.
"Wanna help me practice?"
Kian said as Jc pulled back.
"Id love to."
Jc said as he followed Kian into his room, smiling.
Kian picked up his guitar from the bed and started the song over.
He was getting nervous, but he had something to be nervous about. He was about to play for his best friend, his love. And every time he played that song, he thought of him, Jc.
Kian started playing and with every time he strung and tear came down Jc's face. Kian looked at Jc and smiled before he started to sing his heart out.
He kept looking back and forth but soon his eyes stayed locked on Justin, his beautiful boyfriend.
"Ohhh, hey hey we only get better."
Kian repeated those words and their heartbeats matched it perfectly.
"Love can tear a fire. Love can start fire."
Kian sang with tears falling down his red face.
"Everything inside is burning with desire, now"
Kian finished the song and as soon as he did, Kian and Jc's lips connected. In a passionate collapse.
They both couldn't help but cry into the kiss.
Kian grabbed behind Jc's face to deepen the kiss and Jc grabbed onto Kian's shirt, longing his body closer to his.
They pulled away for air and Jc stopped to catch his breath, which was shaky.
They leaned their foreheads together still crying and looking into each other's eyes. Not wanting to let go.
They remained like that until Kian finally said,
"Tomorrow, when I have to sing that, I'll be thinking of you. And I want you to be there so I have someone to cry with after."
There was a pause after that, but a good pause.
"I love you. Justin, I- I love you."
Kian said as his eyes met Jc's after trailing the floor awhile.
Jc laughed and cried at the same time.
"Of course."
They got up and onto the bed and intertwined their hands in the air while looking at it in awe.
Before they knew it they were passed out on Kian's bed not even realizing it was so late they listened to Kian play for so long. But their hands stayed together like that all night and dared to leave each other in the morning
