It was about 11pm and Kylie and I just finished watching the second maze runner movie. I was starting to get a little sleepy so I went to bed while she continued to watch movies with our other dorm mates Christina and Amanda.

I wake up to use the bathroom, and I see my dorm mates asleep in front of the tv. After I'm done I grab a glass of water and head back to my room. I had gotten a text message from a number I don't know. I check the time it's 1:52am, who the fuck would text me at almost 2 in the morning on a Wednesday?

I open the message. I read it and it seems like a wrong number so I text them back.

Hey, I'm not sure if you're awake or not but David said to meet him at JFK airport on Friday at 2pm.

That was a little weird, it didn't bother me that much I just shrugged it off and went back to sleep.

When I woke up I realized that the person had put me into a group chat. They probably forgotten about last night. I muted and deleted the chat but I still kept getting messages. My phone was going off like crazy, even my social media was crazier than usual.

At this point I had to shut off my phone, I got ready for the day and headed to my first class.
