Several months later-

Mavis stood infront of Zeref as she told him what to do to help control his powers. "Breathe in...Breathe out..." she said serenly. He did as he was told to. Taking slow deep breaths and letting them out at a steady pace. "Conceal the power and don't feel it..." She said softly. A tree began to grow slightly greener. "Good. Look what you did to the tree." She smiled. He looked at the tree and his eyes brightened. "I-i did that?" he asked shocked. "Yup it was all you." she said grabbing an apple and tossing it to him. He thanked her as she climbed down the tree with her own. "Come on. I wanna show you something she said leading him up the Tenrou tree. Once they were up to the top they saw the sun setting in the distant horizon. The two sat down quietly as they enjoyed the moment. "Its beautiful right?" she asked taking a bite of the apple. "Not as beautiful as you...." he muttered inaudiably. "Huh?" she asked looking at him. He blushed darkly. "N-nothing." he stuttered. She blushed ever so slightly as the sun went down.The moment she turned to face him she blushed. His face was inches from hers. "Ze-" She found herself kissing the dark mage. Both holding eachother as if afraid to let go of his/her other half.

3 years later-Mavis's pov-

I walked into the small house outside Magnolia. "I'm home." I smiled as the pitter patter of small feet reached my ears. "Momma!" Ebony smiled jumping into my arms. "How's my baby girl?" I asked hugging her tightly. Her blonde mid back length hair was pulled into a messy bun. "Her fever went down. She still has the cough though." I felt arms wrap around my waist softly. "Is that true Ebby?" She nodded with a bright smile. "Yup!" I put her down as she went down to the kitchen. I heard a rustle and saw white powder fly everywhere. I tilted my head curiously to the side. "What is she doing?" I asked looking up at Zeref. "You'll see." he teased. She walked back in covered in flour. She was holding something behind her back. "What'cha got there baby girl?" I asked bending down to her height. "Happy Mommy Day!" She smiled happily as she showed me what she had. It was a finger painting of the three of us. "Wow. That's beautiful sweetie. Did daddy help you with it?" I asked. He shook his head. "She did this all on her own." He said proudly. "Yup!" I hugged her tightly. "Thank you baby girl." I smiled.

Later that night-

Ebony climbed into bed with us as Zeref pulled her up. "Night love." He smiled kissing us goodnight. "Night." I smiled as she snuggeled closer to me. "Night mommy. Night daddy." she said with a sleepy yawn. In seconds she was asleep. He chuckled softly when she did. "You really are something special Mavis...The two of you are." He said pulling the covers over us. "You are too. You went from dark to light to bright as the shining stars that guide our nights into day...you brought something into my life that I will cherish even after death...'cause I'll always love the two of you untill the day after forever..." He smiled. "I'll love you two untill the day after my forever...too"
