It was already around 2 o'clock in the morning, but Jimin was still wide awake. You, however, fell asleep already hours ago. At first, he wondered how you could drop off this quick, but he assumed that you were probably very exhausted from today's events. He was, too, but he had so many things on his mind, so many thoughts about unsolved problems and "what-if's", that it was nearly impossible for him to fall asleep.

He thought about distracting himself, by focusing on something else, but there was nothing except Jungkook's light snores from the other room and your soft breathing beside him. He looked around the room, which was still fairly lit due to the paper-thin curtains. His eyes wandered over the plain ceiling and the light in the middle, the wardrobe and finally over to you. He examined your face, inch by inch and before he knew, he was indeed distracted from his former thoughts. Your expression was very calm and relaxed, with your eyes closed and your full lips slightly parted. Your long eyelashes, the rosy blush on your cheeks, the natural pink of your plum lips and your skin, that looked like soft porcelain. Jimin couldn't help but think, how beautiful this sight of you was.

He was still engrossed in the look of your face, when he suddenly noticed something odd. Your breath had become heavy and uneven and you furrowed your brows in your sleep. Moments later, you were shifting around in the bed.

"Is she having a nightmare?" Jimin asked to himself, only when soft whines became hearable. You definitely were having a nightmare. Jimin was unsure, what to do. Should he wake you up? He decided that he probably should, when you even started to breath out some words. At first, your voice was too muffled to understand a thing, but it got clearer and clearer.

"Jiyoon! No, please, leaver her alone! Jiyoon!" You spoke in your sleep, while your head was turning from left to right.

Jimin definitely needed to wake you up now, so he carefully touched your shoulder and shook it. But you weren't waking up yet. Instead, you were shifting around even harder. Jimin put his other hand on your other upper arm and jolted you a little more. Still no reaction. He tried again, quietly calling your name at the same time. Your head was shaking quite uncontrollably by now, so he quickly cupped your cheeks with both of his hands.

"Nari-ya! Hey, it's ok! Everything's alright, now please wake up!" He whisper-shouted at you. "Moon Nari!" And with that, you finally opened your eyes widely, staring at him in shock. A single tear was rolling down your cheek, only stopping when it reached Jimin's fingers.

"Hey, are you ok?" he asked in a soft voice, looking worried. "It was only a nightmare, it wasn't real."

But you kept quiet. Your head felt empty, blank, numb. There was no single thought or memory of what you just went through. The only thing you knew was that you were filled with a deep sadness and tears were flooding your eyes, making your vision blurry.

"What? No, no, no... Why are you crying? Hey!" Jimin was still cupping your face, now rubbing his thumb across your right cheek. "Please stop crying, everything's alright. You're safe and Jiyoon's safe, too!"

When he mentioned your sister's name, the whole nightmare crashed back into your mind at once. In your dream, the head lawyer of your former company was kidnapping her to force you to stop hiding. But even as you did, he was still hurting your beloved sister. The dream seemed so real and was so cruel and scary, that you truly became worried about your family's wellbeing. This and the fact, that you were indeed very worried, no, frightened about your whole situation, although you were mostly acting pretty tough all the time, were just too much for you at that moment. You tried to say something, but your mouth and throat were too dry and you only ended up croaking. The tears were mercilessly running down your face and you couldn't stop them. You didn't even wanted to. You needed to let them out and all the stress and anxiety, you've had hidden for the past two days, with them.

As if Jimin had recognized this, without you saying a single thing, he moved one hand to the back of your head and the other one around your shoulders to pull you closer. He was hugging you, tightly and pressing you close to his chest, allowing you to silently cry into the thin fabric of his shirt. He gently stroked your hair and whispered things to calm you down, while you were just sobbing your heart out.

Seeing you like this, Jimin got truly sad himself. He may didn't knew you for too long, but his heart was aching by the thought that you were suffering so much already. And all this just because you helped him. He was the cause. He knew that, but you never even made the slightest suggestion about it. He could really be thankful that someone like you had stepped into his life at a time like this. But the gratitude he felt was also overwhelmed by guilt and fear, of what was about to happen next.

"No matter what's about to occur, I will try my best to make sure that she won't be harmed. At least, as little as possible. I owe that to her, that's the least I can do!" He thought to himself, still patting her soft hair and back.

For him, it seemed like you were crying for hours, even though you most likely weren't. After a while, you had been so exhausted from all those emotions and the crying that you just fell asleep in Jimin's arms. During the whole time, you hadn't even really realized, that he was holding you this close. When he finally noticed that you dozed off again, he decided to just stay like this. It felt warm and comfy to him, even if the front of his shirt was soaked in your tears. He couldn't care less. Jimin snuggled up to you a bit more, making himself comfortable, shortly before even he finally fell into a deep, restful sleep.
