I sat on our new king bed in my pajamas. I wasn't used to this, back in New York, we had a queen. I rested my head on my pile of pillows and waited for my husband to come upstairs before going to bed. I head his voice from the open door bid the person over the phone good-bye.

"Angelina?"

Angelina? He never calls me Angelina unless somethings wrong. Oh God, who was on the phone? What happened?

"I'm awake." I called, and he entered the room with a smile painted on his face. He may have been smiling with his mouth, but his eyes screamed that something bad was going on. He sat on his side of the bed, and put his hand on my leg.

"Angie, I just got a call, from Sergeant Roberts. They need some Marines in Afghanistan.. and I was asked to go."

I sat up. No.

"When?"

"I need to leave on the 11th." He said, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Babe, I'm so sorry."

I climbed out of bed, and stumbled over to the desk in our room, looking at the calender. "Tony. That's Sunday."

"I'm so sorry. I wanted to say no, but I couldn't. He apologized for calling me up so shortly after the wedding, but it's urgent."

I sat back down on the bed. Today was Friday. He moved closer to me, putting his arm around me. I blinked back tears. The last thing I wanted to do was make him feel even worse than he already did.

"Let's start packing." I started to stand, but he grabbed my wrist to stop me.

"It's almost 1 in the morning. Let's go to bed." He said, pulling me back. I decided to give in. I was tired after all that moving and unpacking. I slid into bed, and got under the covers. Tony sat on the other side of the bed and layed down.

"I'm sorry again. This sucks, I know. But soon, we'll be a family again." He said, brushing a piece of my dark hair out of my face. "You'll see."

I smiled, and rolled over to face him. "I know. Goodnight."
