Jungkook pov.

I flew down after the falling angel, as god had requested. While the angel was tumbling down his wings changed to a midnight black before he spread them out, landing on earth. I followed shortly after, landing behind them. I still had no clue who it was.

He looked mysterious and handsome at the same time, as he turned around I realise it was Taehyung. “Tae! Why did god send you here?” I said stunned at his innocent face, “For reasons,” he muttered bitterly, probably angry at God for throwing him away like a piece of dirt. “I dunno why I was sent here with you but I’m happy,” I gave him a grin, trying to look reassuring, “Thanks Jungkook, but I’m not in the mood for being charmed,” he slouched his shoulders and started to walk away. I quickly grabbed his shoulder and spun him around, “And where do you think you’re off to? This earth is full of humans and ugh,” I shuddered at the thought, “Rats, vermin who else knows what else there could be living on this planet.” Tae gave me a look with his pouty lip, “I don’t care, come with me for all I care.” He started to walk off again, and I smirked because I knew he wanted me to tag along.

As we strolled along the concrete sidewalk, I noticed flashing lights out of the corner of my eye. I glanced at the direction and saw a huge building, almost as big as the gates up in heaven. The flashing light was a ginormous sign saying: “Lotus Hotel” it seemed welcoming and looked warmer than the cold air out here, we were only wearing our usual T-Shirts and jeans, plus we needed to hide our wings. “How about there, Tae?” Tae stopped walking and looked over his shoulder then shrugged.

“Whatever. Looks good enough,” he tried to act like he didn’t care about anything, but I knew he was a sweet and caring baby on the inside, “We need to hide our wings somehow,” I stared hard at the ground and pursed my lips and I tried to think of an idea. I snapped my fingers, “Got it!” I smiled, proud of my clever thinking, “What is it? Better not be tearing our precious wings off,” Tae looked slightly worried, “Nah, don’t stress, use your mind or something, God said we could do anything with our minds,” I closed my eyes and thought so hard. It’d probably been 10 seconds of hard thinking when I farted, “Oops,” I looked embarrassed and when I glanced at Tae he was laughing his head off, “Nice one Kooks,” he wiped his tears of laughter away. And then I realised my wings had disappeared, my beautiful white wings, I saw Taes wings had vanished from sight. I was pleased with my idea, even more pleased it’d worked.

“Cmon Tae, we have a hotel to enter,” I said as I started to walk towards the bright, beautiful building across the empty street. As we hurried across the damp road, pigeons scattered and fluttered off into the distance, I already missed my wings. Tae seemed sad aswell, maybe because of the harsh day he’d already had. We walked through the automatic glass doors, inside it was extraordinary. Magnificent white marble floors and walls, with a massive ebony marble desk. A short man sat behind the desk, reading a paper about the week before. “Hey, how much for a room?” Tae tried to look friendly and happy towards the man. The man looked up, his expression numbingly bored, I saw on his shirt a pin that said: “John” I quickly looked up again. “Both of you staying in the same room?” We both nodded in sink, “Cheaper is to share a bed, which means one room and one bathroom, other option is extremely expensive for two master bedrooms and one huge bathroom.” I peered at the black leather wallet God had given me before I left heaven, not much money sat there.

“Uh, we need to take the cheaper option,” I blushed as I looked at Tae, his face was bright red aswell. “Y-yeah. We don’t have too much so we need the cheaper option,” he stammered as he snapped out of his daze. “Alrighty kids, room 42 on level five, here’s your key, and spare key,” he handed us two cards and we headed upstairs for our small bedroom.

As I was curled up in bed I was facing Taes back, he had a shirt, unfortunately. Wait? Did I just say that in my head? “You know I can hear your thoughts, right,” I could see Tae smirking, I turned over embarrassed. “I-It’s ok Kooks...” his voice trailed off. “We should try and rest now,” I said attempting to sound like I was happy, but I was really dying of humiliation on the inside. I managed to drift off to sleep. I dreamt of an ice cream covered in dog shit? What? Then I woke up, withTaes arms around me tight, “TAE?!” I felt him loosen his grip and suddenly he backed up, “Sorry, I usually have a pillow to hug at night,” he murmured sheepishly, “Ok, well get dressed so we can go eat breakfast,” I sighed, “Jungkook, we have no more sets of clothes. Remember?” He facepalmed himself, “Well I do,” I pulled out from a small bag I had been carrying with me. It had few clothes and some were ripped because I was in such a rush to go after the falling angel the day before.
