The plans

I sat down catching my breath from all the running I was doing, I was in a dangerous place but that's not gonna stop me. I hate how everyone treats me like a baby, I hate it so much! I got up and looked at my surroundings it look beautiful with the sunlight, I was trying to forget what happened but no avail. She should know how I feel but she doesn't. How her hair bounces every time, she's happy. And her eyes sparkle when I gave her that ruby, you know what I'll make up for it!

I'll bring her a ruby, that'll get her! But... What if it doesn't work? Mmm... Ah! I know...

Sweetie Belle's Pov

I let Spike and Twilight have their alone time, while I played with my hooves. Then I heard shouts coming from the room, I walked to it. Then Spike ran out of it and Twilight was there in total shock, not moving. "What happened!? Where is he going"?! She then turned to me slowly, and put her head down. " Honestly Sweetie Belle, I don't have a clue". I then ran out of the room, Twilight following. "Then let's go catch him"! I felt a tug on my tail no letting me follow his foot steps, I turned to see Twilight grabbing my tail with her teeth. " I fink we sneed lo mlet himf glo ". I stopped and tilted my head in confusion, no knowing what the alicorn had said. " (Pfft) I said I think we need to let him go, he has to clear his mind".

In defeat I lowered my head and nodded, where was he going though?

Rarity's Pov

I sat down on the bench next to Derpy waiting for my call to the Spa, I looked at the clock impatiently waiting on for my turn. Suddenly somepony walked in, it was Spike. He walked up to me, he smiled and held something behind his back. "H-hi Rarity, look I'm sorry. And for that I want to give you this"! I was about to talk when he handed me a giant ruby, I had lost my words. " Oh! Spike! Its beaut... what's the catch"? He looked up at me with the biggest green eyes I had ever seen, like puppy dogs eyes.

"Rarity, I would like to ask you... Will you be.. My special somepony"? I looked down and scratched my hoof in the ground sweating very heavily, I got the courage to look back at him. " Spike.. I.. I'm sorry! I can't! It's just your.. Not a pony! And your too young"! His eyes turned sad instead of angry, I was surprised he didn't lash out at me.

"(Sniffle) I understand Rarity, no one could ever a dragon". He ran out of the Spa, crying and sobbing. Everyone was looking at me with surprise even Derpy was looking at me strangely.

I feel very uncomfortable...

Spike's Pov

I failed! She doesn't love me... But I got other plans! Let's go see Applejack.. I wonder what she's doing. I walked calmly over to Sweet Apple Acres, looking for her, I knew she had a couple of feeling for Rarity maybe even more?! You never know!

I found her bucking the apples of their trees, she looked tired. " Hiya Applejack! Can ask ask you something"!? She flinched, at my sudden words. Stopping from what she was doing, she turned to me. "Oh! Spike! Are ya tryin' to give me a heart attack! Ah was about to buck ya half through Sweet Apple Acres! Don't scare me like that"! " Anyway (Changes Subject) can I ask you a question"?

"Sure sugarcube what is it"? I smirked knowing she was almost in my trap, she'll learn not to mess with Rarity. " Well.. You know when you have a crush right? Who is yours"? She hesitated, and looked down blushing. "You-You promise not to tell anypony"? I nodded, she didn't move. " Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye"! I quickly promised, she breathed in. "Ah like a girl, I'm kinda gay". I widened my eyes to look shocked, but quickly understood. " Ah like... Rarity".. Gotcha! I thought in my head, I spoke to her. "I promise not to tell anypony! Pinkie promise"! I called back to her, quickly planning my next step. Off to Sugar Cube Corner!

Pinkie Pie's Pov

I hopped around the store handed out everyone's order, Mr. And Mrs. Cake asked me to take over for a while while they went to the store. Ohhh! I was excited to take over, since my billionths time doing it and it never gets old! Spike walked in and jumped over to him, of course his face was always smiling. He was going to get something special probably for Rarity, I giggled at the thought. " Eep! Hello Spike! What can I do for you today"! He smiled at me, which my day made even brighter. "I'm here for a couple of things, I need a couple of blueberry cupcakes, you know the ones you gave me on my last birthday"? I nodded and skipped to the cupboard, pulling out the box. " How many do you need Spike? At least four "? He nodded, I gave him a small box with the four cupcakes in it. He paid me the bits, and waved goodbye. Hmm? I wander what he plans to do with them?
